yes
it is ok to have two Spyware programs running.
Avoid having more than 1 Anti-virus at a time though, more than one will cause conflicts.

The two spyware programs you mention are ok to be running together.

You should only use one program as an active program meaning that it is in memory and actively seeking spyware.
You should use multiple programs however to scan your computer at frequent intervals because no single program can detect all of the spyware on the computer. I use 3 or 4 programs but only one is set to be active at startup. The others are only used to scan.

Yes, you CAN run more than one Anti-spyware/Malware program, no problem.

Don't, however, run more than one Antivirus or Firewall program, they will clash with each other & cause problems.

Your Spyware/Malware scanners will be fine though.

Wow, thats a stupid answer (to the guy above). NO, more than one can cause problems, just get the best you can and use that! btw, Windows Defender is lacking so I would suggest disableing it and using something else. This is also true for antivirus, you do not want to use more than one! Dont believe me, install two or more and Windows will actually tell you that having more than one could cause problems.

Yup, I have 7...one catches what the other misses...p.s. I don't know where shadowmansm's coming from, but belittling others doesn't enhance his argument
