Well, this is classic privacy stuff. I often answer questions about how to delete history, cookies, index files, etc. I recommend ccleaner, but your prospective accused may or may not have used that.

Did you check to see if cookies have been deleted? Each cookie will indicate the site it came from.

Temporary Internet files may contain some very interesting stuff (and a lot of rubbish) if they have not been deleted.

If a crime has been committed, you should notify the police, who will impound the machine and go over it with a fine tooth comb.

Once it has been erased it, pretty hard to uncover. The best thing is to secretly install spy software on your computer. This record everyting done online. This software works great by running silently in the background. It records keystrokes, emails, chats, viewed websites. It also adds a play back feature to show you how everything was perform while the person was online. The page below will show you what features to look for when choosing. Hope this helps!

once the internet history is deleted then you have nothing to prove that they visited inappropriate sites.
unless you have popup advertising. (sex) these are where popups come from.. and plenty of them...

If your the administrator of the computer then you can set the system up where by they can't delete anything, off the system...
