You can repair the deleted registry keys with a good registry repair program. The site below will show you a good comparison and offers a free scan.

You should scan your computer in safe mode to eliminate the virus registry keys. If the virus is loading on startup you cannot delete live files. So, safe mode should allow you the ability to remove the registry keys.

You may also need to remove the files and processes that have been shared with that virus. If the files shared between the virus and other applications to do so.

1. Open your Start menu.
2. Click Run
3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe"
4. In the "system configuration utility",
click either "service" or "startup" tab
5. Uncheck all programs that are associated with the virus.
6. Click "OK"

Hope this helps!

First, you can DISABLE a registry key by adding an apostrophy ' (single quote) at the start of the line.

If something doesn't work after you make changes, remove the '.

Next, you can use your Windows installation CD. It will give the choice to Repair a previous Windows installation or install a fresh version. REPAIR.

Many of the damaged features should function if you Safe Boot with F8.

BACK UP YOUR DATA. There are too many issues. You may have scrambled the registry or you may have a sick hard disk. I'm worried that you might lose everything.

Did you create a Restore point before you tampered with the registry?

The virus registry keys are usually not near the mouse keys or the Control Panel keys.

If it gets worse you will have a BSOD (blue screen of death).
While everything still sort of works, make an ERD Emergency Recovery Disk.

Good luck,

Go to start>all programs>accesories>system tools>system restore.
Use system restore to restore your computer to th day BEFORE you deleted the registry keys. You might have to re delete the viruses but its worth getting your computer working :P
