I am trying to do an online virus scan using TREND online virus scan. Everything starts okay and as soon as it says "updating malware information" the status bar starts flashing erratic and it jumps back and forth from 11 minutes left to 21 minutes left. Can anyone tell me how I can make the online scan work. Thank you

More than likely there is nothing wrong. Just don't pay attention to how much time is left - that is only there as an estimate. Leave it do its thing - be patient - you are downloading the malware definition files - this takes a while as well as the scan.

..it's Normal.. the speed of the download will depend on your internet connection speed..
