He is 20 months old and came to stay because he was ill. His parents do not live together, they both live 1500 miles from us. He needed a lot of attention and special care but is better now and it's time to take him home. His Dad came to visit for a few days during his stay with us. I am worried about how he will do emotionally when I take him home. He has become very attached to us and I know it will be difficult for him.
My plan was to take him back and stay with him at my son's house for the first 2-3 days, letting my son gradually take over his care. Then I plan on moving into a hotel for the next 2 days and visiting him at his house. His mother will visit and see him over that same time period and get him re-aquainted with him. He will be living with my son. I think this is the best way to help him through the separation. My boyfriend thinks I should just take him and come home the next day, he thinks it will less painful for us this way. Any suggestions?

Here's the deal. I am a new mom to an 9 day old little girl. We have only one car, the 95 mustang. It's fully paid for(2,000). My brother has a 98 breeze that he has been paying on. He still owe's 1826.00 He says he will make the payments if we trade him our car for his. We are depending on my mother right now to take us to her doctors appointments because her car seat will not fit in our car. The mustang has been my dream car since I was 5 years old. I finally have it and really don't want to trade it off because I Know i will never get it back. He's wanted my car since before I even got it. I'm so confused. Would it be a good idea?

Last night My son had his friend over to spend the night (both 9 years old ). My wife and I were down stairs watching a movie and I went up stairs to check on the boys. When i walked in My sons had his penis in the other boys mouth ( this is not a joke question, this has really happend ) My wife and I are frantic. we called a family counselor today because my wife and I do not know what to do or think. I took the other boy home and told his mother what had happend and this morning the police were at our door wanting to ask me what I had walked in on. I was already at work and there going to talk to me tonight. What should we do?

I cant understand why parents would let their under the age of 10 daughter walk out of the house in barely nothing. Come on, shes too young to be wearing what 21 yr olds are wearing! Get her some clothes that fit and dont make grown men stop and stare at her. To me, that's like begging some child rapist to come and take her!
Another pet peeve is when parents just let their kids run around the neighborhood with no supervision, and then come out of the house looking for them, and hit them in front of the entire neighborhood. Like helllllooooo it was your fault, you should be outside with your kids what if something would have happend?

Why do some people allow their children to be idiots? Does the apple fall too close to the tree sometimes?

I just finished potty training my daughter. I guess I missed some accidents because now when I walk in the front door it has a strong smell of urine. I have already tried Fabreezing the place and it actually calmed the smell down some. But I still smell it I think it may be in the couch. Does anyone know how I can get that smell out?

I was taking a nap and kept hearing the door open and close got up to see what was going on and found him on the bed with no underwear or pants. My other 2 ran to the frontroom acting like nothing happened.

This is the second time I have found him doing something like this, I thought about grounding to the room for a week but it just didn't fit.

What should I do?

Anybody got any pratical ideas how to occupy 3 children under 5, I do love my children but they drive me mad. I also have depression which does not help either. I do take them for walks/Parks and picnics in the garden I need some other ideas as they are so young.Which doesn't got much either. I don't have any other friends/family to help in the week. So pratical help would be great.

About numerous things.
First of all, I'm 17, I'm a dad, I take care of my baby girl, and my gf, we live in our o wn apartment, now don't mock us.
My first concern is, my gf never really fully recovered from giving birth, she has been sick in bed for a few weeks, doctors say its normal, but we both know its not. I've been taking care of her, and taking care of my 5 mth old. But she ran a high fever today, and was crying for her baby girl, but if our daughter has a weak immune system, and i couldn't let her get sick.. Should I be worried about my gf?

My daughter, has been refusing the bottle, and I don' t know what to do, when she crys, it isn't because she pooped, shes hungry, and I can't really feed her to well. What should I do ?

I'm 17, I'm a daddy to the most beautiful baby girl in th entire world.

I am still madly inlove with my girlfriend, and tommorrow night, I'm going to propose to her.

& Frankly, people always tell me I made a mistake, and that my daughter isn't living the life she should. Look at these pictures below, and tell me how the love of my life is a mistake...

I am just wondering if anyone else has a son or daughter that sucks their thumb. I have heard all the stories about how it ruins their teeth and I don't want that to happen. They are way past the stage of using a pacifier so that won't work. If you know of any remedies or solutions that would help I would love to know.

Thanks!!
