Spell it normally...other spellings look retarded.

The bryn in Sabryna messes up the sound. Bryn rhymes with sin not seen. Sabrina's better.
The spelling Justyn looks funny and feminine. Justin is definitely better.
Jacub is acceptable, although not very appealing. Jacob is still best.
It seems that your friend is trying super hard to make a statement that her kids are unusual, while she's really setting them up for a lifetime of misspelled/mispronounced naming for very typical/unoriginal/traditional names just so Mom could say she was different. Proper spelling is usually best.
In the end, as long as she's raising her kids to be happy, healthy confident individuals and leaders, it doesn't matter how she spells it.
Just my opinion.

Well the jacub one is just plain weird and the justyn one should have been left alone unless it was a girls name.. in that case justyne. The Sabryna nice though.

i prefer the traditional spelling b/c other people will spell them traditionally, which will get frustrating for the kids.

i know, b/c i have a unique name and it was always spelled wrong growing up. it's upsetting when you are in 3rd grade and you win an award and they spell your name wrong on the certificate. i mean, i can understand now, but when i was younger it always upset me. it made me hate my name.

so, stick to the traditional spelling if it's a common name. if it's a unique name, then most people will ask how to spell it.

take care.

I prefer the traditional spellings:

Sabrina
Justin
Jacob

There are all sorts of items out there pre-printed with all sorts of names. If you spell your kids' names in weird ways, your kids wont' be able to find items spelled the right way. And they get frustrated.

The traditional way. Why give the kids trouble in their lives. Blah.

I'm obviously the only one who thinks you're a really creative 9 year old pretending to be an adult.

I say stick to the proper spellings. Do you want to subject your kids to constantly having to spell out their names for their entire life? That would suck!

Be realistic.....they have to suffer from mispronunciations their whole life.....It is idiotic but cutesy to do weird spellings....just think how their names will be butchered by friends that don't appreciate phonetics.
