Here's the deal. I am a new mom to an 9 day old little girl. We have only one car, the 95 mustang. It's fully paid for(2,000). My brother has a 98 breeze that he has been paying on. He still owe's 1826.00 He says he will make the payments if we trade him our car for his. We are depending on my mother right now to take us to her doctors appointments because her car seat will not fit in our car. The mustang has been my dream car since I was 5 years old. I finally have it and really don't want to trade it off because I Know i will never get it back. He's wanted my car since before I even got it. I'm so confused. Would it be a good idea?

your baby is so much more important than your car....let me put it this way would you rather lose your car or you baby? obviously your car.....that little girl of yours is your most precious gift that you will ever receive and worth more than anything that you will ever own......give up the car.....it isn't about you anymore it's about your baby....do what's best for her i hope you make the right choice....you should never put material objects before a life in any circumstances!

Well, it's not the car I object to. I am more concerned about the money owed and the payments being made.

Brother or not, you need to come up with some sort of documentation to make sure that the payments will be made.

Here's the deal. You are now a parent with a child who needs you to put it's needs first. So trade the car. You can't always rely on someone else to help you out.

girl..your a mother now...time to grow up....My wife and I had to trade our Mustang for a damn Caravan...its not the same but we had to look at the facts here...we have a family now...Mustangs aren't going anywhere. your child will grow up and you can have a mustang later...but you decided to let your man get into your pants without protection...well honey...that condom was your insurance for keeping your car...looks like you should have had full coverage...Grow up and take responsibility for your actions and getting a family car is your responsibility now.

Sure, I got rid of the hot rod when we had kids. Now, that I'm older and better off financially the kids have grown 16 & 22, I've been able to replace the hot rod (new one's much nicer) and what really gets me excited is the kids can drive it too!

A mustang is my dream car too, but you have to be able to haul your baby around with you. You need to think about your baby first and your dreams 2nd.

when my baby was born i traded a trans am for a mini van. and it works alot better and she is now safer to ride in this car. if you can not afford to buy a car that fits your family then trade for one that will, you can always buy another car later in life just for you(when the child(ren) get older)

uh, yeah...why would you even ask this question? You're very selfish....when you become a mother, your children come first, even before your 'dreams'. DUH see I don't know how old you are, but I am a mother of two at 19 years old, and even I know that. You're horrible.
