I am a mother of 2 teen guys one is 13 and the other one is 15. Today I left to go to the store for about 15mins when I was gone I came back and I saw both of them downstars sitting in our cinima chairs masturbating.I know they werent touching them because when I came in the door I saw them taking there cloths off. Should I put a stop to it of not? they don't know i know. I don't have a problem with them being naked but I'm not sure about them masturbating. Should I put a stop to being naked also? Also What if they keep doing it what should i do if they see that i saw them do it?

My daughter has started to run a high fever between 101.6 to 103.7... with no other symptoms... She doesn't complain of her ears hurting (she is prone to ear infections) and says it doesn't hurt to pee (UTI) , she did just have a lose tooth pulled by the dentist , that had the adult tooth growing in behind it already... and has 2 small ulcers inside her bottom lip.. I have no clue as to what it is.. and since it is the weekend my dr is not in to call but if her fever gets high enough I will take her to the ER. I am just clueless.. I have tried looking on the net for help too... any thoughts on what it may be ?? Thank you!

Have your kids walk to school, soccer practice, dance and all that other junk. Every day there's a line of cars,vans, and suv's in front of the school. I know you don't live that far away. Make them walk and you'll save big on gas and there won't be as many fat little kids all over the place. Come on soccer moms...Who's with me?

Does anyone have experience with imaginary friends? What should you do if you know someone that has a pretend imaginary friend--they heard of imaginary friends or watched a show where a kid has one and they pretend they have one now. Should you just let the child go on pretending or talk to the child about it? If talk, what should you say?

my son is not sitting up yet on his own. at what age, does it happen?? he will be 7 months september 3rd. When i put him in his exersaucer, he hates it cuz he is not steady in ot yet. he will fall forward. is there anything i can do to help him try to sit up on his own. i do put him in his boppy pillow upright but after 5 minutes, he does not like it. I do put him in his swing upright and his bouncy rocker and he loves them.

I was concidering adopting a child when I'm older, but, I'm sort saddened about it, cause I heard it takes a long time. I was thinking, if I said "ok, I'd like to adopt you", it would take me 4 years to get through the paperwork, and there'd be no bonding allowed with the child, you know? Also, it costs so much money, why? You can't adopt babies for free? I mean, it's probably to show you're financially stable but..lol how many people can concider themselves stable after giving 10,000 dollars? lol

okay for starters i have 4 kids and the youngest 2 i am having trouble getting them to bed the oldest (10)of them has a sleep disorder (night terrors and he needs meds to sleep or he wont sleep) he suffers seperation anxiety bad.well i had succeeded in getting him to sleep in his room and bed then we moved a yr ago into a house where everything was on one floor and he could see me from his bedroom ( so he knew i was there ) well in june of this year we moved again( had to the other house was sub standard) and now the bedrooms are up stiars and he dont see me when he goes to bed and he keeps getting out of bed and coming downstairs he is now at the point where he wont go to bed unless i am upstairs and he sleeps on the love seat in my bedroom.the other is my lil girl who is 3 i cant get her to stay in her room and i am dealing with the other that i am having trouble doing this i am single so have no help,and i cant seem to remember how i did it before when it worked

WHY do all these parents buy their spoiled kids cell phones, and then gripe when they run up a $400 bill? The idea of 9, 10, 11yr.olds having their own phone is RIDICULOUS! The same with thong panties and padded bras! Why buy this crap for a KID? They may as well let them hang a sign on their neck that says "COME AND GET IT BIG BOYS!"

Just b/c my parenting skills are different from another mom, what gives them the right to think that I don't love and care for my kids? I got my daughter's ears pierced when she was 2 mo's old, she's 8 mo's now, and just b/c some mothers don't agree, they think I am being 'cruel' to my daughter. I feel irritated and hurt that other mother's on here choose to judge me for my decisions, and hold a grudge over it. So, b/c some moms think it's wrong to pierce ears I'm supposed to change MY mind? I'm a free soul, I have feelings, I have decisions to make. They don't see everything I do for my kids, how much I go out of my way, and work my azz off to make sure they have everything they need. And yes, I have suffered through ALL of their vaccines, each one of them, for each child I have. (3) I do believe I know what I'm doing, and b/c other moms don't like it doesn't mean I don't know or want what's best for my kids. I am their mother, I have been there for every bruise, cut and scrap

What would u do if u just found out your teenage daughter was doing drugs? I'm just so in schock that I couldn't even say anything 2 her and also this week just found out my oldest daughter is pregnant and at the same x I'm honly 36yrs old and also having health problems (Terminally). I am up late because I waited up for my 19 year old son to get home. He is home for the summer from college and I still wait up for him. As I do my 3 other kids! They LIKE it because it gives them a sense of security that I care. We talked about it once...the baby is 15 and the oldest is 23.
Our only girl is 21.

parents used to visciously beat, whip, switch, paddle, belt, back-hand, kick, ridicule, humiliate, threaten, etc. their kids to get fearful OBEDIENCE and submission to authority - rarely did they teach their kids to do WHAT'S RIGHT! todays parents just let their kids do whatever and rarely teach them WHAT'S RIGHT!
Both styles of parenting are abusive and unhealthy for a child and do not teach the child to know right from wrong.
So what is right?

to teach what is right, you have to either be raised (trained) to know or get some training later on to know what's right. oh sure, you probably think you know right from wrong - but do you?
how were you raised? did you learn about what's right or did you learn to fearfully obey or do what you please?
what's your idea of right and wrong? do you live by that or by the "get away with what you can" rule? do you do what's right because it's 'right' or because it will get you something? should kids just obey or do what's right?

my husband lives with his parents. we were living together but he decided that his car was more important than the bills. tells everyone we moved out cause we were getting broken into. not true. well he found a job but it only pays 35% of what he sells. i live with my grandparents as his parents dont want kids around. we have a baby due next week.( we were living together when we found out i was pregnant again.) well i have 2 kids. a girl whos 2 and a boy thats 10 months. i want him to help but all he does is yell at them. he puts his needs 1st. he was helping but then quit. what can i do? they need daddy. gives me $5 a day but i take him to and from work which uses $3 in gas. please help me..
