I told my wife that our 6 year old son is too old for breast feeding, but she says as long as she keeps making the milk, hes going to get it. Her logic does make sense. But I figured by now her well would run dry. Can anyone help me?

I'm 19 yrs old and I have a 3 yr old son. I dropped out of school when I was 5 months pregnant with him. I was a freshman. Now I'm a stay at home mom. I have no job. I never finished high school. All my relationships fail. I want a job but I don't have childcare. I hate being at home all the time. I'm still a teenager. I need love and adventure. What do u suggest?

My son was suspended from school for fighting yesterday, but he fought the boy because he put blood on his clothes. I was outraged by the other childs actions and did not punish my child for his. I just want an unbiased opinion?

I had my daughter at 18 years of age. I never once regret having her. I love her to death. But I do regret the way I raised her. I was very immature. I made some major mistakes and now at 5 1/2, she's a brat. How do I reverse this? My son is nothing like this. He really listens to me and follows through. They are two worlds apart. Could this be a mistake in my parenting or her personality or both?

I read Family First by Dr. Phil McGraw but I wanted to get some more opinions.

I've been dating a woman that has a 13 year old son. The other night I was over her house and around bed time for her son she gets in the shower with him.

When she came out of the bathroom with wet hair and wearing just a towel, I asked her what she was doing. She said that she has to shower with him at times to help her son clean himself that he doesn't know how or forgets. He is as normal as normal 13 year old boys should be.

She is from Brazil and says that is her culture and all mothers in Brazil do that.

It made me sick to my stomach and I got up and left. The next day I told my mother and she said that at age 5 that you should stop.

I have a 14 year old daughter and if I did that I would be arrested.

Is this really the culture of Brazil or is this just some sick game that she plays? At what age should you stop?

My wife thinks the kids are old enough to stop hitting them for punishment, but to be honest she sometimes deserves it herself.

I take care of my son and his cousin during the day and they have started to play with just about anything but their toys. Infact their new favorite play things are milk jugs. They just like to carry them around and bang them on the floor. Its really cute and they don't hurt eachother with them, but its also really weird. They do this with alot of weird objects, just playing and not getting mean or trying to eat anything. Should I just let them go for it or should I discourage them and try to make them play with their toys?
