I really varies quite a bit, I was induced at 5:30am, the water was broke at 7-ish and out came my son at 9:30am. I should mention however, that I was in labor for 50-some hours prior to being induced.
So it really just depends on how far along your body already is in preparation for labor and how your body responds to the method of induction used.
I hope this helps.
I was induced because I had been in labor so long, very little sleep as a result and wouldn't have had the strength to go through another sleepless night and then go through labor. No epidural.

This is very individual, and depends a lot on your cervical dilation, effacement, baby's station, and also genetics, before labor even begins! The average first labor is approximately 12 hours. This is completely individual, though, and much will depend on other factors, even your own weight and fitness. You could deliver in as soon as 2 hours, or it could take you 48 depending on if you are truly ripe and ready. It really is much better for mom and baby to wait until labor begins naturally if testing indicates normal placental function, and there are no concerns for mom or baby. There is quite a bit of risk involved in an induction. More babies go into fetal distress and dangerous heart rythyms due to the unnatural strength of pitocin induced contractions. There is a much greater chance of needing a cesarean delivery for this reason. Being a little overdue, barring a decline in placental function or baby's health, is not a good reason to induce. Keep in mind more money is made for an induced delivery.

I went to the hospital to be induced at 7:00am they put one of the pills in me that is suppose to help you dialate but it did not work at all so they did another one after 4 hours still nothing. I had dialated to maybe 1cm the next morning then they put me on putocin at like 6:00am by like 12:00 i would say I started feeling labor pains, but i was still only dialated to like 3cm by like 5:00 I was having bad labor pains so they gave me the epidural at like 6:30 and the last time they checked me I was only at 4 and a half. They eventually had to do a c-section cause i started running a fever. I wish I had waited for him to come naturally even though I was a week overdue.

I was induced on a Friday @ 1in the afternoon, I delivered by c-section on Sunday @ 7:30am.
My sister in law was induced on Thursday @ 10am, had baby natural Friday morning 1am.
Really all depends on how you body takes to the induction.
Take a deck of cards and some music.

my first child was 9 1/2 hours my second was 8 1/2 and my third was 2 1/2 i was induced with all of them. don't know if epidurals slow them down but i had one with both of the first ones and had my third one without any drugs. i was induced with all of them but i was also dialated to 3 before the potocin. sounds strange to be induced with all three but i don't go into full labor by myself i need a little boost.

Everyone is different and it depends on what they use to induce you. SOmetimes its a matter of hour before you can start laboring or with me it was two days before i started laboring. But It really depends on how your body takes to the induction and how ready your body is to start laboring. Good luck and hope the delivery is successful!

I am afraid that there is no sure answer for you. All women handle labor differently. It all depends on how fast the contractions work at moving the baby down and how good you are at pushing. For my son I had my water break at 2:30 on a monday afternoon and I didn't have him until 11:30 am the next day. It took me 21/2 hours of pushing. Good luck!
