No, my kids go back on Wednesday 16th and we have yet to go shopping for school shoes etc.
Secondly, I love having the peaceful mornings when i am getting ready for work but everyone else is in bed. i am definitely not ready to give up that and return to everyone trying to use the bathroom at once!

Yes but im in college so no rest for me if they go back or not.
Although I dont have any kids I think they play out more and all while school is in session. But thats less they will be coming to my house I hope.

No! I haven't seen them yet and I'm suffering from the whole 'working mum guilt' thing! But I'm leaving my job next week (hurrah!) and not starting my new one until mid September (hurrah again!) and we're off on our hols next Sunday.

So, in short, no - but try asking me again on September 1st when I'll still have another week of the little treasure's company and no respite!

Why are you in such a hurry to have your children leave you? I never understood why people have children that they didn't want to spend their time - let alone their lives - with. You will sorely regret pushing them away one day. Instead of wishing them off to school, you should be wishing they will still want you in their lives when you are the one who is whining and annoying to them!! Count your blessings lady
