But for anyone who's interested, yes, it's for lubrication, and I think it would help the sperm swim.
I'm glad Yahoo is helping to clean house. I hope they do this with their bulletin boards too. They have too many cluttered, spammed up boards, havens for white supremacists and other assorted crazies.

It's lubrication that helps decrease any pain from friction during sex, and also helps in getting pregnant.
