My ex wife killed herself this weekend. We have 3 kids 10 8 and 6. I wonder if I should tell them what happened or just tell them she had a accident and then tell them when they are old enough to understand.

when i was four months pregnant we got into a fight ( coz i found out he lied to me about going with someone else) and he kicked me in my tummy which threw me to the floor. Needless to say I left him and dont want anything to do with him..he now demands that i let him see his son once hes born and have regular contact. I dont want him anywhere near my son as he doesnt deserve to be a father!! am i wrong in my decision?

How do you handle your child's birthday? Do they get two separate birthday parties, one with each family, or one all together, or do they have nothing to do with the other family? Curious about other people's situations...

My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for 1.5 years. We plan to get pregnant next year and our baby will be born when we are 25 and 27 if everything goes right.

We will have our house mortgage paid off next year, and we will have $0 debt. I have a college education and we both have been at our jobs for a couple of years and make a good living.

My mother doesn't want me to have children because she thinks I will have no patience for my children and she thinks I should wait until I am 30 before I get pregnant.

My husband and I rented some movies on pregnancy and babies, and my mother saw the receipt in my car. She frowned and had this unhappy look on her face.

We are happy together and want to start a family, we have had our dog since he was a puppy and he is 2.5 years old and I have tons of patience with him and he is hyper and a pain in the butt!

How do I deal with my mother, she thinks she is entitled to say what she wants about my future kids!

My sons grandmother , his fathers mother,is a "real piece of work" ill put it like that ..she has always wanted weird things , like she wanted some of my sons hair for a keepsake..hes MY son..she tried getting away with his ambilocol stump..yes this is frckn weird i know..and lots of other strange things..anyway i had to go apply for some programs with her and I had to bring my sons birth certificate and soc card with me ..( she also likes to screw with taxes, shes always trying to mess with mine , i just dont trust her with anything )..so I was at her house and I let her copy the birth form from the hospital with the feet on it but when she asked for the real certif. I said no..I could tell she was offended..but I dont trust her . anyway as im leaving the next day I was worried I might have misplaced the copy I made of his soc & CERT..she makes a point to tell me that she can apply for both and get it ..I told her no she cant , and she went on about how she could..she cant can she?

answer them? She just turned 5 and is about 25lbs over weight. She asked me today if she could come to dance classes and she also showed an interest in the junior cheerleading squad for the basketball team. How do I tell her that she just cant do these things right now due to her weight without being negative. She wont make the cheerleading squad, and she's just not a dancer. I have tried to encourage her mom to give her better foods and take the television out of her room that she watches about 6 hours a day. Yes, I realise this is very bad and I am doing my best to help her with no junk food or television or computer when she is at my house and she has to play outside in the backyard and I try and take her to the park once a week with my little girl.

How do i appropriatly tell a 5-year old that her weight is a barrier to some of the activities she would like to do?

My daughter's first birthday is on Tuesday (july 18th), and I am trying to start teaching her how to feed herslef with a bowl and spoon.

Previously I just put her food on the high chair tray so she hasn't really had experience with bowls/plates.

SHE MAKES A BIG MESS!! But I know that's how they learn, right?

My daughter is 3 and feeling left out. We are now expecting and she does not want to be a part of anything. I want to spend some mommy and me time with her. But I do not know what we should do. Should we go to one place, spend a whole day together, or what? Thank You. Also if you have any advise on coping with a 3 year ol, pregnant mommy, and confused daddy please tell me.

parents have the right to circumcise their sons, right? it doesn't matter what the son wants, only what the parents want. and this guy REALLY wants his newborn daughter circumcised. (not her clit. just the lips.) so he should have that right as a parent, right?

he said it's partly for religious reasons, partly for aesthetic reasons. (he likes the clean lipless look). doctors told him that it won't benefit her health wise and that it will take away reduce sexual pleasure, but they also said that male circumcision does the same thing. so,,, what's the difference.

the europeans i know are outraged at the thought of this, but i figure americans will be different since you guys have no problem circumcising boys for religious and aesthetic reasons at the risk of giving them extrememly dull sex lives.

oh, and if you are a circumcised male, please don't say "my sex life is great". because you only think it is. you don't know any better. this girl won't know what she's missing either.
