I am a teen mother writing a paper for my college English class about the contriverasial issues of teen pregnancy and parenting. I understand that people have different point of views about the situation. If you could tell me if you agree or disagree and why that would be great.

Do you expect them to earn money with chores or not? Why? I do not expect my kids to buy their own personal care items, so this would only be spending money for grade-school and junior high age kids.

I am about to request a DNA test for my daughter so that I can get child support for her, but when the process is over and done with, will I have to change her last name to his? He is not on the birth certificate now, so she has my last name, I know he will have rights to her, but do we have to absolutely change her last name? I know it sounds selfish, but its not like he's doing this of his own free will.

when my daughter who is now 8 years old, was a baby, my mom take away the pacifier at 3 months old so she will not get use to it and we did and it worked wonderfully, she found her thumb. My son is now 5 months old and he still uses his binky during the day, there was no way i could take it away as he is whiney through the day and that is the only thing that soothes him. he found his thumb but he will only use his thumb at night, thank god no pacifier at night...i trained him with the night thing but i can't take it away in the day, it keeps me sane. haha!!! do people believe in pacifiers after 3 months?? my sister's daughter is 2 and will not sleep without a pacifier and loves it during the day, I don't want my son to be 2 and sucking on a pacificier

teaching kids about money? My daugther is 5 & my stepson is 10 but he is more the type of kid that will get something for money ususally with his mom... (example)If he gets good grades everyreport card his mom give him $30 & if he behaves well at school every week he gets $15 & I personally think is not right.. Shouldn't kids receive money & not alot like an allowance maybe on Sundays a decent amount appropriate to their age??? Cuz like my steph son he will only behave & have good grades cuz he receives money but not because he is a good student. there should be better ways to reward them fro good grades & good behavor...or what do you think?? A good way I think is to teach them the significance of money but not the importance of this... what will be a good age to start??

My first set is b/g and I named them Christopher and Taylor. They are now three years old and can't wait for their new siblings.

i keep telling my 8 year old daughter to be quiet when the baby is asleep but everyday, it never fails, she wakes him. did any other mothers experince this with their kids? my older sister say they do this on purpose to test you but i don't think my daughter means it as she is awesome other than this. when the baby gets woken up by her, it is hard to get him back for his nap, i literally have to let him cry it out.

Why the **** don't all parents and teachers teach children these answers before they become teenagers??? Bit late after.

Likewise given that teenagers are fertile and have hormones and feelings...

Why don't parents put their own kids on the bill from first date and make sure the pills are taken themselves no differnt to a diabetic taking insulin?

How many teaches does someone have to batter likewise parents for holding back vital info and not doing their job before all the kids are taught EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING

The child has been of adhd medication for four years give or take a few months. The problems are getting gradually worse. She has no patience with anything, cant sit still. I know that is a normal kid though but as she gets older it is like she is also getting younger. She is ten years old but she acts like she is 6. It isn't only when she dont get her own way it is all the time. I need real advice about this. What can i do and what is treatment available? Please explain in detail your findings. What is the difference between the two and what do you think is wrong?
