What do I do??? My 27 yo son has made himself at home, AGAIN, after living with his dad and he had to leave there because he is sloppy, doesn't think he has to contribute to the household. Now, he is back with me. He took over his 9 yo brother's room, tries to dictate on my parenting skills. DOESN'T clean the room and, if at all, minimally, unless we have a BIG argument..and avoids me when payday comes. He has an attitude..and when I approach him that's another BIG drama that I don't want to put my younger son through..What do I do??? I'm screwed right???

I just found out I was prego a week ago, I had some nausea and was tired for a few days but not anymore, I am a little concern about it,I know I should be happy if I don't get any MS, but at the same time it worries me, because the MS makes me feel prego and now I don't have it, has anyone here expirience the same?

My DH and I just found out last week that we were pregnant again for the second time, we have a baby boy and now we would like to have the little girl, we were wondering if there is a non-invasive test or method to find out the sex of the baby, we would like to know early, we are just dying of curiosity, but we would gladly accept whatever God gives us, we've heard of a DNA gender predictor blood test. Has anybody here done it before? where can I have it done? Are they any other methods that actually work? Thanks in advance and serious answers only please.

do you think we should be allowed to smack our kids?
we have stupid rules here in the UK governing what we can and can't do, what about elsewhere..

I have heard parents counting. I've never seen the kids actually respond. What is the point? Do any parents follow through with this? What is supposed to happen?

Anyone else think that this is silly?

What is child abuse? I mean, is spanking and slapping child abuse? Or is it more than that, like beating? I know this girl whos parents slap and hit her for "disapline" but they dont beat her...so just wondering.

If you had to do it again, how would you do it differently?

Would you have started earlier? Would you wait till your child was older?

Would you have taken classes instead of teaching your child yourself?

How was your experience?

I feel horrible, I wish I could assign someone else to do it, I just want to snuggle and cuddle with them... I love them and I know it's important to discipline them, but it's so darn hard! I know discipline will save their life, and help them integrate into society... I am not contesting that... I just want to know if anybody else feels that way, or different than I do...

I personally think that the child should be old enough to decide for themselves when and if they want to get their ears pierced!

Ok, here's another scenario... By the time kids are 3, they know how to hide, and lie... Am I supposed to punnish them for the lie or for the actions they lied about?? Or both? What do you think?? What about when they will point fingers at each other and none will admit they are the culprit... i usually figure it out, but what do you think? I know it's more than one question, but you're soo good!
Please, no rude remarks...

I've read many questions so far and have noticed the person asking and a huge majority of the responders are women. No offense. Child birth alone gives women the one-up on men. Nonetheless, men, like myself, are quite capable of parenting. I'm a single-father of two great kids, who I love more than life itself. I'm also one who wants to raise them right. Sometimes, my situation makes me feel really isolated and alone. So my question is this: Are there any other men in here?
