Which is worse?:

A. A single, stay at home mother -- who's never had a job in her life, is leeching off the government, but is obviously home with her kids.

B. A married, working, working-class mother -- who doesn't see her kids but for a couple hours a day because of her crazy work schedule, and who's family depends on her income (along with her husband's).

Please state if you believe that being a SAHM is the "only" and/or "right" way that women should go.

Please give a reason for your choice of A or B!

i just took a pregnancy test and the results were a dark blue line in an oval and nothing in the circle. the thing is, i don't have the box and have no idea what the brand of it is b/c it was a spare test from a few months ago.

so are all pregnancy tests the same??
usually one line is negative and two lines (or a +) is positive?

please let me know.

We have a daughter who is 2 and I am almost 12 weeks pregnant. I wanted to stay home with our daughter after she was born but my husband insisted I go back to work so I did. I know we could afford it with me not working but he says it's not fair to him. Our house is always dirty because working full time and being pregnant has taken all of my energy that I have left...I swear this may sound gross but i'm sure our dishes havent been done in weeks....he works swing shift so he even gets days off during the week but doesnt want to help around the house and expects me to do it all. So I told him that if I could stay home I would make sure the house was always clean and there was always dinner on the table every night...but he still refuses?!?!?! What am I susposed to do?? Please help...

a contract for you. To be compromise to her/him. My daughter it is 8 yrs; and did a contract to her dad. demanding to spend more time with her and to take certain places. When I asked her why? she told it is because he dont keep his word. So by having him signing in he is obligate to do it. (I Wonder what she would do, if he dont do what is on the contract. would she get a lawyer too...)

Thanks in advance..

I was interested in becoming a child care provider through CCIS. where i would get paid through the state. my question was whether or not I set the pay or if they will only give me a certain amount of money. the child is a infant and I will watch him for 6 days a week from 7-5 and it is my nephew.

I was walking through the mall the other day and this lady about mid 30-ish had her three daughters with her. And their names were outstandingly uncomman. But Rhythm was the most uncommon..... the other two were Eden and Romy. I just got bumfoozled when I heard it. But I kind of thought it was adorable too. But anyways.... lol!

i have a 7 and a half month old daughter who has what seems to be a pretty bad diaper rash. i didnt even notice it till early this morning when she would not sleep (it seemed to be bothering her pretty bad) i was unsure of why she would not sleep so i did the commen sence things... rocked her, fed her, changed her. but when i changed her i notice she had pooped, and while i was wiping her she started screaming so i stopped. i wiped again and her legs started shaking and she started screaming again. thats when i realized she had a terrible diaper rash. the only diaper rash cream that i have is "Butt Paste." it is very easy to come off so i didnt wanna put that on her because it would not give much protection. so i put her old yeast infection cream on her hoping that would hold over till morning. now i am uncertain as to what to use. should i stick to the butt paste? even though as soon as the diaper touches it it wipes off? is there any really good creams? please give some advice!!

I think that sends an awesome message to every teenage girl, because now its ok to be pregnant at 16. Nickelodeon is going to have a huge mess to clean up after this completely circulates. I guess you can take the girl out of the trailerpark, but not the trailer park out of the girl.

Do your kids grandparent play favorites between your kids. My oldest seems to be the favorite of my father in law. She calls and says hows my favorite granddaughter doing or when he sends christmas money to them its all grossly in favor of my oldest.

My oldests birthday was in may, grandad sent 50.00 to her for her birthday. My other daughter who is 2 years youngers birthday was Monday and there has yet to be anything from grandad for her not even a card.

we have told my father in law that he has to be fair to both. My youngest asked why grandpa didn't send her anything like her sister. What do you tell her. He could have sent a card at least. HE didn't even call her on her birthday. How pathetic is that.

My 4 year old will only eat certain things like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, french fries, grilled cheese, PBJ sandwhiches...ya know the typical things all kids like. He won't for the life of him even so much as taste a hamburger, grilled chicken, or god forbid any vegetables! I am worried about his health. He weighs about 35 pounds and he just looks skinny to me. I've started refusing to give him anything like junk food and whatever everyone else is having for dinner is what he's having but he won't eat it. If I make him take a bite of something he'll say he doesn't like it and he's actually sat at the dinner table with a bite of food in his mouth and held it there for almost 3 hours!! He's sooo stubborn and I just don't know what else to try. PLEASE HELP!! And does anyone know what a normal weight for a 4 year old should be?

i am expecting my 3rd child next June. my husband and i are trying to figure out if he should work a full time and a part time job so i can continue to work part time or if i should take a year or so off of work. financially, we can afford for me to take a year off but i dont think it is fair to him. if i take time off he doesnt have to work another job at all. he can keep just the one and i can stay home or if i get bored, work on the weekends when he is home to be with the kids. i would like to know if you had the option, which would you choose? i have only take the 6 weeks off after the other 2 kids and we have always split the bills 50/50. am i being selfish if i dont want to go back to work right away? please, lend your advice. thank you in advance

Hey all, I'm a little concerned and need some professional help. I live in China and they are kind of idiots anyway...but they gave me a diabetes test but not one where you have to drink anything. Just the finger stick one. Will this work for pregnancy diabetes or not? I'm a little concerned since I seem to be thirsty all the time and have only gained 2lbs in 29 weeks. I'm also 34 yrs old and have a history of one miscarriage and one stillbirth. The stillbirth was April 07 here in China and they never told me why she died...I think it was an umbilical cord accident. Anyway should I be worried or is it all basically the same?
