I'm quite sure he hasn't banged his head recently. Just today I noticed a really big bump under the hair. No bruise or colour (blue or red), he's very happy. Should I worry? Should I take him to the hospital in the morning?

Everyone keeps telling me that my 8 week old is gaining weight too quickly and that i should give him water at night instead of feeding him so he'll sleep longer. I read in one of my books that you shouldn't give water to a breast feed baby because they are getting the water they need from the milk. Please help because i'm so confused right now. btw, his birth weight was 7lbs, and today he weighed in at 12.08lbs. his length was 20.4 at birth and is now 23.5 inches.

i had sex about 3 weeks ago. we only had sex for about 10-15 mins but we didnt use anything. he didnt ejaculate but i have read that you can get pregnant by pre-***. anyway i am 4 days late on my period. i took a pregnancy test on the 3rd day i was late and it came up negative but i still havent come on. i have a stitch like feeling in the right side of my stomach and when i press it in it hurts. im worried that i may be pregnant and its just not showing up on the test. can anyone help me please. thankyou

Okay - my brother's ex-fiance just had a baby of which she claims is his, but he is unsure. He thinks she was having an affair when they had a brief break-up.

What are his rights to getting a paternity test? If she applies for child support, will there be an automatic paternity test done? Or does he have to seek it out himself and go to child services (or whatever else they're called) and request a test?

He is really stressed out about it and unsure which path to take. He wants to be a part of this childs life, but he doesn't want to end up paying for a child that could potentially not be his....any help would be fantastic.

As early as now, I am already experiencing itching all over my body and to relieve it, I just use body lotion to moisturize my whole body especially the back and tummy area.

I heard people say not to use lotions because it goes through your bloddstream which could affect the baby. I only use vaseline lotion. Do you think it's ok for me to use vaseline? It does relieve the itching. Or do you suggest some safer lotion if vaseline isn't good for pregnant women? Thank you.

My first birth experience was a circus. There were people present that I didn't want. People telling me don't do the epidural, others saying if I was in pain to take the meds, and teen family members brought in by other family members to show me as an example of what it's like to have a baby. I don't want my second birth experience to be like this. Is there a polite way to say, no you can not come until afterward? I know some of them already that are going to be hurt if I don't ask them to be there when the baby is born. So what can I say?

seriously youd think the girl would learn from her sister's mistake! Lordy! I mean shes pregnant at that age that is crazy. my mom had me at that age but she didn't give the whole story to a magazine and expect PRIVACY!!!! anybody else that family is crazy idiots? Before my husband & I got married 2 years ago (I'm 34 & he's 37) we both assumed we would have children.We got married, a few months later realized we both thought maybe we didn't really want kids. First year of marriage we both were consumed with the idea of not having children & told family & friends this. Everyone was supportive. Last xmas we visited my niece & nephew (6 & 4) who we're very close with & just had the most amazing time. After we returned I started having these odd feelings of doubt that my decision to not have kids was not the right one. I told my husband, because we promised we would tell each other if we changed our minds. He was a little freaked at first, but since has lightened up, but still thinks he may not want children. My feelings are getting stronger & I'm not sure what I should or should not be saying to him. I don't want to try to talk him into it, but I'm not getting any younger. CLOCK IS TICKING MORE & MORE..Any advice? He thinks it's hormones

The only way our 2 year old son goes to sleep is if someone lies beside him and he can play with their hair. Then if he wakes up in the middle of the night obviously no one is there and he becomes really unsettled and wont fall back over till someone lies beside him again. we have tried ignoring his cries but he doesn't give in he is a stubborn wee bugger.

I have 2 sons. 1 is going to be 4 in February and the other is 19 days old. I'm having a dilemma that I'm sure someone has the solution to! How in the world do you find time to shower, use the bathroom, fix yourself up, etc.? I mean I do have the time to do it I know, but I am so afraid to leave the children unattended! I can't say "Hey Ashton, keep an eye on the baby while mommy goes to the potty", lol. I am not alone, I'm married, but my hubby works after hours alot. How do you manage to get cleaned up? Somehow I manage to get a shower and brush my teeth everyday, but it's because I get my 3 year old in the shower with me and put baby in his vibrating chair outside the bathroom door so I can still see him. I know there is another way to do this, to actually have some alone time, without my son seeing all of my goods, lol!!! HELP ME MOMS!!!

Monday night she texted me and told me she cut herself and that she was really upset, she asked me to get on msn that night and i said i would. I also said "well jeez that was real smart" when she told me. I didn't get on msn that night and I didn't get on till about 11:30p.m last night. Her display message was "sick of always f*cking waiting around* with a broken heart as her pic. She's grounded right now, thats why we can't actaully be together. I don't think I did anything wrong, but she won't even talk to me. I used to cut and she helped me through it and got me to quit. We've been together for 7 months. She's never done anything like this. Did I do something wrong? What did I do?
