i'm extremly upset and don't know wat to do.......... she's only 14

im not aiming this at all men but why do they do it ive been wrecking my brains to figure out why. children are a gift and i couldnt be parted from them but why do some dads when the relationship turns bad and parents split up the dad does a runner and wont contact his children or even send a damn christmas card most men say the kids will know the truth when they are older but the truth is this. " yes us mothers use the kids agaisnt the dads but if u was told to jump of a cliff would you do it? and the kids will grow up to resent the parent who they feel has abandoned them not look for them and expect a hug they will want to know why? please help me out here and answer the question " why do dads abandon their kids ?"

Since saturday my son has had a cold and cough. Also he has cut two teeth. He is drinking very little and now has diarrhoea. I have also noticed he is very windy, coming from both ends. He will take so much of his feed and then will scream and take no more.
He is still quite happy within himself and will laugh and smile.
I have taken him to the doctors twice and they have put it down to his cold.
I am at my wits end as I am worried as he is not feeding properly. I can just about get him to take 2oz of water.

Any one else had a baby that has been poorly like this?

Please, I am just asking for advice and I know that no one is medically qualifed here.

It's one thing for a celebrity to name their child Paris, or Suri, or Heavenly Tiger, or Fifi Trixibelle - the child will never have to get a job - but why would anyone else do it bearing in mind that they will be judged for that name for the rest of their lives?

One of my sisters suggested that I should think about how the name I chose for my baby would sound when she won the Nobel Prize and it's not that I have such goals for my baby, but it seemed like good advice to stay grounded.

I'm talking about made up names, surnames spelled backwards, 'unusual' spellings, and such like.

I have done more tests this past week! 75% have been very very faint positive. 25% negative. I got a blood test yesterday and am just so scared they're going to call me today & say it's negative. So to be prepared I bought 2 different tests last night & did them after holding my urine for 6 hours. Guess what? One negative. One light positive. I don't get it. I have sore breasts. Yesterday I noticed lots of creamy discharge. Food smells make me want to gag. I'm tired. I don't have to pee a lot though. I'm a nervous wreck!!

I was supposed to go into the hospital on Monday night to be induced...the hospital is too busy and I STILL have not gotten in! I am going crazy waiting around my house for the phone to ring. Last night they said I was number 4 on the list...ugh! Any suggestions on how to wait this thing out? I am so anxious!

I had to get a GED because of child abuse problems. I had to move out, and yes I made mistakes, but I got my GED. Since I have gone to a communtiy college and got a degree in history education. I want to teach high school so that I can maked sure kids dont make the mistakes I did. Will the fact that I dont have a highschool diploma myself hinder me in my search for a job in education?
