is this normal? he will cry for it , then spits out. its now four days since it started. as i want to stop him breast feeding , pliz help

what my sister did in this situation is, as soo as the child spits, you remove him from the breast/bottle and tell him sternly that its is naughty. Then put him in a chair where he is safe, and leave him for 2 mins. He will only learn through persistance and consistancy that it is wrong.

not being rude at all but i would think that 21 mos is a little too old to be breastfeeding.by this time milk is not the only form of nutrition. even babies on formula should stop by 14 or15 mos.old.

U R already very late for this. Now he need a substitute. U can try a good teether or fig for this. whenever U feel like he want U, arrange that someone else should take care of him. Any rocking or twinkling toy can help U.

It sounds like he's ready to stop, then. Can you distract him when he cries for breastmilk? Try giving him some food that he likes, or a cup of juice or regular milk. Sooner or later he'll stop asking.

he probably had enough of it and wants to move on a step further? is he not a bit too old for breast-feeding anyway?
try some solid food out of a jar!

then just stop. He's not being difficult. There seems to be something wrong with your milk and that's IT! Try a bottle.

He's nearly 2 years old. Shouldn't he have been weened by now?

are you by any chance pregnant i have heard countless times that when someone becomes pregnant there milk changes in taste and the child will usually reject the milk....

wow, at 21 months hes got teeth and wants some sausage egg n chips... milk just doesnt cut it...

if u want to stop breastfeeding then dont worry, maybe he has a sore throat, my baby does that when shes sick xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
