My period is 14days overdue. I took the pregnancy test and it show a faint positive. Is there something wrong with the kit or will it gives a false result? There is two line, If it is negative will it show 2 lines with the other a little bit faint? If it is positive it will normally show 2 bold line right?

Had 2 nites in hosp with 10 wk old son - poor weight gain (under observation, wasn't ill, just trying to find out why) They concluded I'm not making enough milk & he doesn't "feed efficiently" (often feeding over an hr) so I'm now supposed to only allow him 30 mins, then give xpressed milk & formula thru a supply line (tube taped to breast so he's still on breast for comp feeds) then hav to xpress after every feed & this is all supposedly going to increase my milk supply.I don't get how 30 mins on breast & then 30 mins on breast with formula thru tube is better than just letting him feed for an hr? No-one ever asked about my diet or meds. I started taking mini-pill when he was 6 weeks - all 'official' info says it won't affect supply but I'm not so sure. Also I was diagnosed with gallstones when he was 9 days old & am on a strict no-fat diet including most dairy. How much does diet affect supply or could it be pill? Told I look worse/tireder than when he was newborn! I feel it! advice?

I have five children aged 11, 10, 9, 7 and 3. Up to now we never gave them pocket money but they always were bought what they needed and if they went out they were given money. I feel we need to teach them now how to handle their own money therefore we are going to start to give them pocket money. What would be a reasonable amount for the different age groups.

She's the youngest (and only girl) of three children from a poor irish american family, and she's recently gradated from medical school. Her hair is rusty red and falls in tight waves, and her eyes are icey blue. Her skin is pale olive toned.

Personality wise, she's somber and very serious, prefers to be on her own but is congenial when in the company of others. She tends to be focused on whatever she's focused on at the time, and doesn't divide her attention very well. When she feels put upon, her tendency is to ignore whatever's bothering her rather than confront it.

Formula didn't really become popular until the 50s and 60s, right? So, say it's the 1870s and a woman is in town with her baby. Her baby gets hungry and starts screaming. Did she, probably a conservative Christian, start nursing right there? Or did she finish buying whatever she was buying at the general store, letting the baby scream all the while and annoy everyone else, make the journey home, and then feed?

I was recently at a website that listed many other countries, some of them extremely conservative, that were very receptive to breastfeeding, and bfing in public. Israel and Japan included. America is supposedly one of the most progressive countries in the world, and yet we can't keep our heads on straight on something that is a natural and non-sexual act. Why is that?

We are born and raised in the ol USA but our great grandparents wer Greek and we we're thinking of naming our child something Greek. We don't want it to be too hard to pronounce though haha thanks for you help in advance!!

He doesnt seem to want me to have this baby anytime soon, because we have christmas and then new years, so when I called him about the cramping that wouldnt go away in any position, he said stop having sex and it will subside. So if I try again will I go into real labor? Im sooo beyond ready to have this baby and am about 38 weeks along and 80% effaced.

i was j.w how far down your cervix has to be to be complete..i dont knwo what im trying to say really lol.....like you have to be dilated to 10 before you can push baby out but how far down does ur cervix have to be??
