My best friend is pregnant with twin girls due in March, she has not come up with any names. The thing about my best friend is that she wants the names to start with a K. If you have any good names it would be greatly appreciated and if any one could come up with some middles names too that will help.

So I just got my daughters 6 month shots today, about an hour ago. She seemps to be doing fine, she is just napping.
She turned 6 months yesterday. (20th)
I just got home and was updating her journal and she got her 4 month shots on November 2nd!!!! I thought it was right on her 4 month birthday, but apparently not.
HOW could the doctor schedule her to get re-vacc'd without checking the length of time since the last vaccinations?

How bad is it that she was vaccinated on Nov 2nd and then again Dec 21. I called but got their answering service and im freaking out.

Anyone?

Okay so im 38 weeks and 1 day,and 3 cm dialated.
me and my bf had sex last night....So after we had sex i started having really bad pains like REALLY REALLY bad pains like contractions And i couldnt get to sleep at all last night and they lasted up untill this morning....Anyone kno why?

My ex and I spit 1 yr ago. I have primary custody of our kids.
The problem is when my ex comes to pick up our son, my son wont go with him, he screams that he doesnt want to go. My ex told me that I had to get him, I got my son from the bedroom as he was screaming,kicking and pulling my hair and grabbing on to the fridge so he woudnt have to go. Why is he doing this? Can I tell my ex that if my son doesnt want to go he doesnt have to?

I've had sex 4-5 times a week for 3 months using condoms. I've been naseaus for a month and my doctor thought I might be pregnant. I also had some dizziness, mucosy discharge, and fatigue. Okay, normally I have a period every 33-38 days that last about a week, starting heavy and getting lighter after 3 or 4 days. This month I moved out from my parents house a few days after my period ended and its not due to start for a few more days to a week and a half but I've been bleeding lightly for about a week now. Its not really a period like I've had before. The only symptom I'm noticing is the light bleeding and normally I have: bad cramps, a little diarrhea, heavy bleeding, less energy, nausea, and a repulsion to certain foods (like bacon). At first I thought the light bleeding might be implantation bleeding because my boyfriend and I had a condom break a few days before the bleeding started but the bleeding has lasted more than "one or two days". I think stress might have caused an early period but everything seems backward. I have slight insomnia, I have to talk myself out of eating everything, and I get fidgety when I have to sit still for any amount of time.

Do you use corporal punishment, spanking to get your child not to hit others? Isn't that odd to you?

If we are not to "spare the rod", then will our children believe us when we say violence is wrong, or the painful actions we live out before them.

Dr Spock popularized not spanking, but he lived to see his spoiled grand son commit suicide.

Wouldn't a pop on the bum save a foolish child's life, if it refused to obey you and stop running in front of fast moving cars going by your home?

Is "tough love" necessary some times?

How can there ever be peaceon earth when we believe military actions are effective?

Does the Word of God teach non violence? Is there a limit? Where should we draw the line?

My son's father is in jail for basically the rest of his life. ( Long story short, he stalked me, assaulted me, and then tried to kill me.) My son has never seen him and my husband has been his daddy since he was an infant. I am not going to lie to my son, but I'm wondering when is the best time to tell a child such a terrible story about his own life. I've thought about it since he was born and still can't decide when to tell him. He's still just a little guy, so I think if I told him now, he would not understand. Due to a court order, there will be NO contact until after my son turns 18. There will be none with me ever. What age should I tell him?

I've been browsing for a while now, I am amazed. Alot of parents who post on YA are extremely offensive.

I saw a question about a mother asking what the most safe and secure email she can use for her 14 year old son, a mother asking to create a youtube account for a 15 year old, the answerers said to make sure its below 18 so he cannot see anything thats not suitable for his mind, and to know the password.

More questions like, I saw a bunch of highschool kids smoking cigs outside of the school, should I report them? Answerers said OMG TOTALLY REPORT THOSE KIDS!

I laugh at the unbelievable comments and statements parents say on here, it makes me want to go back to my teen years.

Who agrees or disagrees? I really hate answerers that don't give reasons or explanations.

Within the last month (I'm only 3 months), I have been having the weirdest dreams! I dream all the time so it's not abnormal for me to remember my dreams every night but I keep having dreams that my baby is born and people are chasing me or I'm trying to save my baby! I aslo had the most vivid dream that I had a little boy and I has tickling his stomach and when I bathed him he kept slipping under the water and he was too heavy to lift....Also I had a dream were my boyfriend left me and the newborn baby kept asking for his daddy! It was a ridiculous dream because my relationship is perfect. Does anyone else find they're having really odd dreams? Is it stress? Is this normal?

people seem to go by that more than real answers! i only give thumbs up for answers i really agree with, or thumbs down to really bad ones, but now it seems like even propor informative answers get like 10 thumbs down! (especially in pregnancy and parenting! lol)

My 3 year old daughter is soooo smart! She knows EVERYTHING! The problem is that she has a lot of problem pronouncing her words. You really have to listen to understand what she is saying. I on the other hand get exactly what she's saying 98% of the time. But thats cause I am a stay at home mom and am with her ALL DAY EVERY DAY. She pronounces a lot of things wrong. Like "Daddy" is "Aggy", Dora is "Gora", Fish is "bish" and the list goes on and on. Almost every word is mispronounced. And when you try to correct her she just crosses her arms and refuses to talk. LOL She's hardheaded like her DADDY! Also, she can't draw, like circles, or a straight line. She does however, do zigzags across a paper. In straight rows all the way down an entire sheet, as if she is writing. She can't peddle a bike forward, only backwards. But when you try to help her on any of this she gets mad and doesn't want to do it anymore. Has anybody else had this problem? Is she learning at a normal rate?

how much of a difference will morning urine be then during the day urine in a pregnancy test? does it affect it a ton my doctor only was able to get me in at 2 pm?
