I was 40 weeks yesterday. I know when I was/am due. My Dr has always said I was due on the 26th Dec not the 21st as I worked out. Yesterday I was put in hospital due to leaking fluid and loosing mucous plug and the midwives this morning wrote I was 39weeks+1Day and in my chart it said I was 39weeks+2Days. Which by those dates I wouldn't be due till 27th/28th Dec. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had these descrepencies with midwives/ Dr over dates? I told them and they didn't fix it even though they said they would.

I have read so many answers trying to hit the nail on the head.

“They don’t use birth control.”

“Bad parenting.”

“Boys peer pressure them.”

“We don’t have quality sexual education.”

“There is no father in the home.”

I’ve read and heard so many answers to that question it’s not even funny. Has anyone ever thought that maybe they had the best two parent family in the world, went through a great quality sexual education course, they were on birth control, and were willing to have sex? Has anyone ever thought that there is an age where every young person is going to make their own decisions regardless of what they’ve been taught? For the others with the birth control excuse--have you ever realized that birth control is not 100% effective?

So, when did you start having sex? 16? 17? 18? Was it your parents’ fault? Was having sex a choice you were pressured into? Did you not understand what sex was? Was your father in the home? If you didn’t get pregnant as a teen but had sex--do you realize you could just be another ‘statistic?’

Teen pregnancy happens no matter if the kid is in a two parent home, they had quality sex education, or their parents got an A+ in parenting. What do you think?

5 months pregnant with a little girl. We have decided to name her Karlyn but having trouble thinking of a middle name. Her first name is a combination of both her grandmothers names so the middle name really doesn't have to have meaning just go well. By the way the last name is Burgess if that helps.

When I was younger (a baby- to-8 years old) --I was addicted to my little green blanket--- I carried it with me and smell it all day long. Finally, my parents hided it from me. It was a big loss :(

I am now 22. I still love to smell clothes. For example, I still smell my blacket while I sleep. Before I go to work and school --I often say good bye to my blacket and smell it. Sometimes, my friends notices I smell my clothes after I wash and dry them.

What do you think? Do you have this issue? Please advice. Thank you.

well, me and my family went shopping
and my cousin always has guys that come
up to her and ask her out. well, this one BOY
came up and said 'excuse me, is that your mom?'
to her. he thought that i was her mom. and she was
like 'no, tell hem how old you are' and i said 15, which
is my actual age. she is 20. and she looks older than
me. i don't think i look like anyone's mom, and i just think
it was rude of him to say that. btw, he was only 17. and
then he crossed in front of me and my other cuz and started
telling my 20yr old cuz how pretty she was. i'm just standing
there like 'wtf???'
lol...would you be offended though?
or should i just forget about this??

whenever i see this topic come up i notice the women who don't think ladie's should have to cover up when breastfeeding say that the breast is not a sexual organ whatsoever and is only intended to feed babies so they shouldn't need to cover up. But if this is the case then why when women make love they like having their breast fondeled? i thought the breast was not a sexual thing? if it isn't though , then why is it an erogenous zone?

What is in the DNA of cousins that will cause their kids to have birth defects? Is this just an old wive's tale? I'm sorry I just don't understand how it works. I thought human beings all pretty much have the same DNA so what difference does it make whether you marry your cousin or someone who isn't related to you? Isn't DNA or genetic material all the same?

My mom got mad at me because I withdrew money from our joint savings account to buy a gift for my boyfriend. it was like $100 but I had every intention of replacing the money when I got paid from my part time job next Thursday and I have done this a lot of times before but she never found out about it so I don't see what the big deal is since I'm going to replace the money anyway. Now, she's groudned me and she's telling me to get the gift back since I already gave it to him since his family left town for the holidays. It's so unfair plus I don't think I can get it back since he'll probably wear it before I can see him again. What is her problem? I mean I got the money with good intentions and did something good with it. It's not like I bought something for myself!

Would you keep it, abort it, or put it up for adoption?

Okay, so im 7 DPO and I keep having these dull pains in my lower stomache and terrible backaches. Also i've noticed things tasting different. I had some french fries today and they tasted so metalic i wanted to puke. It possible that these are pregnancy symptoms or just coincidence? I don't want to jump to Conclusions....hlp

Emma babysits for Jill, a single mom who goes out by herself. When Jill gets home, I'm expected to dash over to pick up Emma since Jill doesn't want to leave her son alone. My daughter enjoys the job and the money is good -- but I don't want to have to wait up to act as chauffeur. Any suggestions?

Am i being alittle too over protected with my newborn son??
I dont like the way she raises her children and I hate when my hubby ask for my son to spend a day or night with her. He gets affended when i disagree as he thinks she is fine (they are close brother and sister)
She always gets smart when i remind her things or ask about my son. For example, my son takes two medications twice daily for a heart condition. This medicine will keep him alive until he has his surgery at 4 months old. I texted her or call her to remind her that its time for his meds and she snaps stating "i know when he gets his meds, i dont need a da*n reminder". What is so wrong with reminding someone. She swearly states how she raised 3 kids and I dont need to keep telling her things but I feel its my son and If i have something I need to say or remind I will.
I would rather remind someone to give my son his meds then let someone accidently forget.
Am I being over protected with not wanting her to take him?
