My 2 mths+ baby recently does not want to drink milk on feeding time even though she is hungry. She prefer pacifier and when I insert the bottle in her mouth, she start to struggle and cry... It takes a hard time to feed her... Is there any solutions for this? And sometimes when she drink, she doesnt finish her 4oz milk but only drinks 1 1/2oz to 2oz of milk only.

Stop trying to feed her on a schedule. When she shows signs of hunger, feed her.

Have her checked for reflux, if that doesn't help.

I was feeding my daughter, the same age as your child, 4 oz and the Dr said that was too much for her. Their bellies are the size of their fists so if you put that much in their bellies will get too full. This may be why she isn't taking the bottle when you think she is hungry and why she is only eating 2 oz's.

You can try a couple different things. Try feeding her 2 oz every 2 hours or 3 ox every 3 hours. Try changing the nipples you are using. Try changing formula (unless you are pumping). You can also bring her to the Dr and have her checked for an upset belly of some kind.

Good luck.

She will eat if she is hungry. Just because she sucks on her pacifier instead doesn't mean she is hungry. If she is hungry and struggling with the bottle maybe it is the type of bottle you are using? Or maybe the nipple and the flow level? Which kinds are you using?

She may not be hungry. If she doesn't want to eat then don't force her to. If she wants the pacifier let her have it until she is ready for the bottle. Obviously if she struggles and cries when you try to feed her she isn't hungry.

I assume you mean formula. First make sure its not bad if you've been using the same container throw it out and start a new one. Maybe shes colic or has some other stomach upset. Have you talked to your pediatrician. Maybe shes gotten an allergy to the formula you using.

Let her go till she is hungry. Or you could try changing the nipple. My oldest daughter wouldnt use anything but the ortho nipples. Good Luck!!!

most likely she doesnt want to eat at that time anymore try feeding her at a different time or try to burb her before you give her the bottle.
