I love to smell clothes when I wash them and I wash my sheets/blanket often to have that fresh scent. I LOVE the smell of towels right after being washed.
I don't think it's something that I 'have' to do, I just like the smell and it's a habit to smell them. You don't want things to smell bad, and it's a comfort to have that nice, clean smell.
I don't think you are weird, really, except I don't say good-bye to my blanket or anything. But after the wash and dry thing, that's totally normal. I have seen a few people who do that.

Hi
I had a blankie too - I have a photo of the blankie on the washing line and me standing underneath it sucking on the end when I was about 3! And yes I do love smells still. I love swapping pillows with my husband so that I can smell his, and when I am ill I cuddle someone's pyjamas or even my own nightie and it's very comforting. I love the smell of 'people' - not B.O. of course, just that intagible smell which separates the members of your family.
Look on it as a gift; extra sensory smelling! :-)

Hey I'm in the same boat. I love smelling clean clothes. My little kids think it's funny to smell the clean cloths too.
As long as you're not taking your 'blankie' along with you places, or smelling other people's clothing you're probably ok. Be a 'closet clothing sniffer' :)

I personally like the ocasional smell of my blankets and clothes, they just make you feel comfy and relaxed because it is a nice comforting smell that reminds me of sleeping which means peacefullness and calmness and relaxation. I think it's fine to smell clothes and blankets if it makes your day brighter!

Almost anybody who does laundry knows the smell of clean sheets, the smell of a clean flannel shirt, or the smell of a clean blanket.
Perhaps you have a good sense of smell. It harms nothing, and if it pleases you, go ahead.

Yea, I still love to smell things, when I was little, I would walk through the store opening everything to smell it, however, once it got me in trouble, I was trying to smell some laundry detergent and it was powder, it totally went up my nose and burned like you would not believe, I was trying to rinse it out of my nose and bubbles started coming out, it was so funny and I felt so stupid, however, to say now I only buy liquid laundry detergent, and I am more careful when I smell things. LOL

This sounds like a harmless little kink to me. Many people like their own smell, and it is in your clothes and blankets. Never mind, just don't let people watch you when you smell your clothes, it may look funny to them.

Thai is your mom tongue not English notwithstanding in case you grasp English. A mom tongue by potential of definition is the language which you have been immersed into once you have been born, the language spoken by potential of the human beings who raised you. My mom tongues are French and Creole. French and Creole are my community languages. besides, I communicate 5 different languages, they don't look to be my mom tongues yet languages that I actual have found out. you could not placed your community language on an analogous point than languages you have found out on your existence ... i don't care how solid you grasp those languages. in the utility someplace else, you would be waiting to point your languages skills, then point out English as your 2d language.
