I went for an ultrasound and the doctor said that she cannot find the heartbeat on the 6week baby. The doctor says I might be having a miscarriage. The doctor told me to come back next week for another ultrasound to see if there is any new development on the baby. If the the baby remains the same, they want to remove it...

Is it still too early to find the heartbeat?
Are my chances of a miscarriage very high?
Has anyone experienced this problem before?

I'm a bit worried, because this is my first baby and I was looking forward to it.

There have been some posts here recently regarding the legality of sharing bedrooms. Is there any page that specifically states the "law" and its implications? There isn't a law here in the US, but I have heard there is one in the UK. I think kids (same or mixed sex) can share a room at any age, granted it would be more difficult as the kids get older. I shared a small (110 sq ft) room with my sister until I was 8, she was 10. It was just what we could afford at the time. What do you think about this?

Yesterday, I posted a question about a friend who is 29 & single, but wants to be a mom before she is too old. Though she is considering artificial insemination, because she is on meds for mild to moderate mental illness (ADHD, depression & BPD) she's been told adoption is safer.

I was SHOCKED & DISGUSTED by all the callous and insensitive answers!

Why do they act this way? Is it cuz there is still a stigma attached to mental illness despite the circumstances, or whether & for how long it has been under control?

Or is it cuz people on here are scared of what they know NOTHING about?

Why are the people on here so cruel & heartless?

I should have gotten my period last Sunday. I also usually spot for a week before I get it and I have had none of that this month. I took a dollar tree test on Sunday and Tuesday morning and they were both negative.

So I figured I'm not pregnant, but then this morning I woke up early feeling very nauseous. Almost called in sick to work, but I ate some crackers and felt better. The nausea has lasted all day but it's like not enough to make me throw up or not eat. It gets worse when my stomach gets empty. I thought it could be flu but I have no other flu symptoms.

Could I be pregnant? I did have sex during my ovulation time, he pulled out but we did it many times in a row and it's very possible some of his stuff got in me.

We went to the doctors appointments and she gave them her Insurance information... After the babies born she tells me they didnt cover everything and she wants me to pay over 5,000$?..... shes trying to take me to court... is this legal!? How bad is it to drink a can or two of Pepsi per day during early pregnancy before you find out you are pregnant? I am trying to conceive but "addicted" to Pepsi (ok - not literally addicted, but it does give me that little bit of energy that I need to get by sometimes - like coffee would be to other people). I'm trying to figure out if I should just stop drinking it or if it's acceptable in small amounts. Anyone have first hand experience with this? How was your pregnancy? How is your baby? Thank you!

I'm quite young, well, young enough. In all honesty, I haven't had sex. But I've missed my period for 2 months in a row now, and I have some (however dubious) symptoms of pregnancy. Is this true? That some hospitals automatically circumcise the boy without the parents' permission because they assume that the parents want it done? I'm 7 months pregnant with a boy and I most certainly do not want my boy circumcised. Has this happened to anyone before? I have heard stories and I hope they are just stories.

It seems this all thats happening lately to our society! I meann, Britneys Sister and all the Yahoo questions are like "Im 15, i think im pregnant!" ugh! I'm getting so depressed! I've never really dealt with acne...now that I'm 5 weeks pregnant my face has broke out horribly. I use clinique mild facial soap, and that doesn't seem to be helping. Anyone else going through this while pregnant, and what have you used that helps??

Do you think it's ok to get married, when you are pregnant and showing? Or would getting married before you start showing be your preference? We have talked about marriage before we found out I was pregnant, and planned to. We don't want to wait 'til after the baby is born to get married, but I'm 2 months pregnant now, and he doesn't care either way if I'm showing when we do get married, and he doesn't care what his family thinks. They know we are expecting and so does my family. If we get married before I start showing that'll be in the next two months that we'll have for making the plans, or I could wait 'til it's summer time and have a nice outdoor wedding with his and my family. Which would be better though in the long run, showing and having more time to plan for the wedding (about 6 months) or not showing and kindof having to throw everything together within 2 months?

My daughter is 15 months old. Latley when we tell her no, she will laugh/smile, and do it again, like she thinks its a game. I have tried redirecting her, sitting her down, swatting her hand, "spanking" her butt, but then I feel bad afterwards. I know that I'm not hitting her hard enough to hurt her physically, but I don't like thinking that I hurt her feelings either. My biggest fear is having one of those childeren you see in the stores that are out of control and the parents have no control over them. Is this just part of her age? Do most 15 month olds act out like this? Any ideas, tips, oppinions would be greatly appriciated! Thanks

How long after having implantation bleeding can you get a positive on a pregnancy test? I started having implantation bleeding (or at least I think that's what it is)...it's pinkish red and not very heavy. I don't think it's my period because it's not as heavy as my period and I was having light cramps earlier, not the horrible ones I normally have with my period.

When I went to my prenatal appointment my doctor was not able to pick up my baby’s heartbeat on the Doppler at 11 weeks. She told me not to worry that it was still too soon to hear anything. I have had a miscarriage before and the fact that nothing was heard on the Doppler is driving me insane. I am scheduled for my first ultrasound on Thursday which is the same day I turn 12 weeks. Has anyone has been in a similar situation?
