Alice is a great name. It is very classy. When I started looking for names for my son I wanted to look into the more modern names as well as the classic names that are fading away quite fast. If there are any Alice's in your family line it is also a nice contribution to keeping that in your family.

I find it old-fashioned but still very cute and classy. That's my sister's name, and it also reminds me, of course, of the sweet, curious little girl from the Lewis Carroll books, Alice Liddell. :)
