How long after having implantation bleeding can you get a positive on a pregnancy test? I started having implantation bleeding (or at least I think that's what it is)...it's pinkish red and not very heavy. I don't think it's my period because it's not as heavy as my period and I was having light cramps earlier, not the horrible ones I normally have with my period.

You can get a positive pregnancy test as early as 5 days before your missed period (according to some tests). But the most accurate result will be after you have missed your period.

Usually 5-7 days after you notice it. This would also be right around the time your period SHOULD start. If you get a negative test, test again a few days after your missed period as the hormone levels can be slow to show up in your urine.

Good luck!!!
