I posted a few days ago when I got two positive home tests, and then a negative at a pregnancy center. I've had VERY swollen breasts (sorry if TMI) for the past week or so, naseau (especially after drinking coffee), frequent urination, and a few other symptoms. I waited about four days, then took another test that the pregnancy center gave me to take home. It came up negative this morning. Granted, both tests that were negative were from the same place. It would have been so exciting to tell our parents on Christmas! I'm wondering if there's any hope? I'm due to start my period today, and if it doesn't start by Monday, I may take another home test and see what happens. I'm pretty heartbroken though. I was so excited when I saw the two positive tests. Any encouragement or stories?? You guys were very helpful last time I posted :) Thank you.

Sledding, ice skating...things like that. Should I stop soon after implantation may possibly occur or not until after I get a positive pregnancy test or can I still do those things for a few weeks after getting a positive??

I'm 38 weeks pregnant. my doctor said i was carrying very low a couple days ago. although everyone says it's ok, i cant help but feeling like i'm hurting him when i sit up or bend over. is it possible to harm him in anyway by doing this?

Everyone says that Braxton Hicks are supposed to happen...but I have never felt one. My stomach never tightens and releases,,,is this normal? Also, last night-I was in the worse pain ever. It felt like she was grinding on me down there. My bladder felt like it was going to rupture and it hurt so very bad. I could not even walk. While I sleep at night, this terrible pain comes in the right back side where my butt is and shoots down the back of my thigh. It feels like my bones are being ripped out of me...it's terrible pain. What's going on with my body? Thanks in advance?

I just recently adopted a child from Guatemala and we have been having problems with him falling asleep on his own in his crib. We always have to rock him to sleep (generally with a bottle as well) and then carefully set him in crib. If we try to put him in crib while awake, he just throws a tantrum. He is 11 months old. Any suggestions on how to break this?

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I cant sleep. I been having extreme pubic pain and it kills to roll over in bed or to try to sit up. The pain is unbearable. I seem to get it whenever I put pressure on my legs. Does anyone have any explanation for this? Please tell me this means my little one of coming out soon. I have not had any braxton hicks contractions that I know of. When will I expeirence them or am I already?

i got my membranes swept on wednesday at 2:30 pm and the babies head according to the dr is "right there" i am 2cm dilated and 100% effaced and lost my plug yesterday (not sure if all of it though) and usually the baby moves alot but yesterday it seemed like he just wouldnt stop moving, especially last night, he kept moving and everytime he would i would get a sharp pain down there or id have this really bad urge to pee but everytime i went to the bathroom, nothing, couldnt pee at all. me and the hubby did end up having sex (sorry if too much) but even through that the baby wouldnt stop moving. he NEVER moves this much, is this normal?

I'm only 17, but I got pregnant on the second date. I don't believe in abortion, except in extreme cases like where the baby has half a head or is a mermaid or something.

I don't really want the father to be round because he's really irresponsible, and actually, grows cannabis. I don't want me or my baby to be mixed up in that. I'm drawn between turning him in and not, because I'm a very law abiding citizen (grade A in law), but he's also the father to my kid. Any help with that?

And also, anyone have any idea how i can tell my family? Thats the thing im most worried about really. I'm just scared out of my mind!

Ok so I am pregnant and got married this past week, and I had a glass of wine after to celebrate, I didn't even drink the entire glass but have been feeling so guilty ever since. I never drank a drop of alcohol with my first. And don't plan on drinking again with this one. Anyone else done this while pregnant? I have heard so many mixed opinions......

i am pregnant with my fourth baby and my first 3 children are all girls, with all 3 of the pregnancys i had really bad morning sickness so much so i was in hospital on a drip for 3 days all 3 times. this pregnancy however is totally different i dont feel pregnant and i have had no sickness whatsoever. i asked my midwife what she thought and she said most people carry different sex babies different, so do any of you think i might be having a boy this time?

So it has been 3 weeks since my baby was born--we hit a growth spurt last week and she nursed almost 24/7...well, now i am so sore--it really isnt an engorgement sore, but the nipples are sore (last night, one looked swollen)
~~~I have only planned on breastfeeding for the first 2
months and then going to formula~~~
My nipples are so sore that i am dreading the next feeding. I fed her about 30 minutes ago and used a different position and it wasnt that bad...I seriously dread feeding on the other side though, it is more sore.
What can i do to help with the pain?

Do i put that lanolin on it? (my mom is allergic to that stuff~~how will i know if i am allergic too?)
I will have to go buy some so can i do this in the meantime--Vit E ?

Can i rub some Vit E on my nipples? I was thinking this would help to keep them from sticking to the breastpads or my bra (even when they arent leaking)

if i could afford formula--id be taking that route!!

and my son hasn't had his MMR as yet, what would happen if he caught chicken pox or something else could this harm my unborn baby, as i'm looking after my son 24-7 and worried about him catching anything. he's having his MMR on 7 jan 08.

I want to know what is different about it the second time around. I am thinking that I will enjoy it more and appreciate the 9 month wait, in the first one I couldnt wait for the baby to be born and I think this time I will appreciate having my baby near me in my belly but not actually having to feed and change them yet : ) Oh and if you have had more than two what are the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th pregnancies like? Are they the same as the 2nd one?

is it also true that the longer your baby is in your tummy the better..or from 38-42 weeks it doesnt matter..? im 39 weeks and i want to have him right now..but would it be better for baby to come out at 42 weeks?
