There is no exact time to be potty trained -- usually it is between 2 and 3 years. It helped my son to potty train standing up so he could see what was happening and connect the sensations. He could safely stand at the toilet on The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com I started by just setting it at the toilet. This stool makes every toilet kid-sized. My kids immediately climbed up on this stool and discovered that they could safely and securely use the toilet. This got them very interested in using the toilet and they were potty trained very quickly.

My kids like to use what they know mommy and daddy use. And it really is wonderful having your kids independently use the toilet on their own. The handles and sides make all the difference! My son and daughter felt very secure and the sides makes them feel comfortable and closed in when they use the toilet. With this stool, your daughter will love going on her own. I hope this helps you.

For most boys it will be sometime between 2 and 3. The fastest way to get your child out of diapers is to simply stop using them once your child has started showing readiness signs. Treats and bribes work well for some children (M&M's in a jar on the back of the toilet trained one of my brothers) but not all of them.

For me, I was frustrated when at 2 and a half my son had been in pullups for 6 months and still usually wouldn't use the potty at home. Finally one day I just stoped using then. We went to underwear. The first ten days or so were pretty bad. He had one or two accidents a day for about six weeks, and after that, he was pretty much trained.

I did it in the summer so that he could unclothe quickly to use the toilet. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased about a dozen pair of the $2.88 cloth shorts and about 4 matching shirts. This way changes were remarkably easy, we didn't ruin any good clothes, and it didn't cost me a fortune either.

My son will be turning 4 next week, andI can't even remember the last time we had a daytime accident. On the other hand, we only began to be able to go (reliably) without pullups at night about two months ago. Before that he would be wet once or twice a week at night. Sometimes these things just take time.

mine was around 3 before It was time to potty train. They will start giving signs that they know what they are doing. Generally if they are starting to hide when they go potty then they know what time it is. If they start to go hide. Take the diaper off and put them on the potty chair. Nature will take its course. Generally about 30 min. after they eat or drink they will need to go . Start with that . Let them get accustomed to seeing you on the potty and give rewards for trying. make it fun and do not get upset when they don't do it b/c this will make them stress and feel very uncomfortable and make the process even more stressful for you. Always praise, praise, praise and make it to be the most wonderful thing they could possibly do. Let them know what a big boy they are and that you will buy them the coolest big boy underware ever if they will go to the potty.
