So I just got my daughters 6 month shots today, about an hour ago. She seemps to be doing fine, she is just napping.
She turned 6 months yesterday. (20th)
I just got home and was updating her journal and she got her 4 month shots on November 2nd!!!! I thought it was right on her 4 month birthday, but apparently not.
HOW could the doctor schedule her to get re-vacc'd without checking the length of time since the last vaccinations?

How bad is it that she was vaccinated on Nov 2nd and then again Dec 21. I called but got their answering service and im freaking out.

Anyone?

It doesn't have to be schedule exactly. It is almost two months since her 4 month shots. Don't fret. This will not harm her. I would however talk to her pediatrician because some 2 part shots need to have the right amount of time between them to confer the best immunity.

That said: this isn't the best place to get medical advise. Do get in touch with your doctor and have your fears put to rest.

It is good that you are on top of this. Doctors are wonderful, but we have to be our own health advocates (and our children's).

Don't listen to the anti-vaccine nuts.

We were on vacation when my daughter turned 6 months so we had to decide to take her for her check up a little early or a little late. My doctor told us that as long as the shots were at least 4 weeks apart it was fine.

Don't worry, the doctor has a chart with the dates, they would not give her shots without checking to see the date of the last shots.

When I scheduled my son's appt for his 6 month vaccines, they just wanted to make sure that at least 6 weeks had passed since his last shots. I'm sure your baby will be just fine. :)
