I've been browsing for a while now, I am amazed. Alot of parents who post on YA are extremely offensive.

I saw a question about a mother asking what the most safe and secure email she can use for her 14 year old son, a mother asking to create a youtube account for a 15 year old, the answerers said to make sure its below 18 so he cannot see anything thats not suitable for his mind, and to know the password.

More questions like, I saw a bunch of highschool kids smoking cigs outside of the school, should I report them? Answerers said OMG TOTALLY REPORT THOSE KIDS!

I laugh at the unbelievable comments and statements parents say on here, it makes me want to go back to my teen years.

Who agrees or disagrees? I really hate answerers that don't give reasons or explanations.

Hmmm...funny, ledhead, how do you misspell a word that doesn't even exist? For the record, if we want to be proper it should be Soldier Boy. I don't know what a Soulja, Souljah, or anything similar to that is. It does not exist.

No, I don't like my daughter hearing about "supersoaking hoes." Obviously, you aren't a parent. I never said ANYTHING about my daughter becoming obsessed with sex. I don't know what you read, but never did I say that nor do I imply that. I said that I think it is VERY inappropriate for children to listen to. If that song was meant to be a dance song, then it should be left in the clubs for the over 18 crowd.

Until you are a parent, then I would shut my mouth. If you hear your child one day asking "What does it mean to supersoak a hoe? What does it mean to superman a hoe?" and it doesn't bother you, then you, sir, are deeply disturbed and I pity your future children. I absolutely am going to be ticked off when children ten and under and talking about sexually explicit things.

Your argument is pointless. Why would I care about a dance song speaking about fluffly pink bunnies? I would rather hear children singing that, then talking about a man ejaculating on a female.

Sorry, I didn't answer the question. I guess I'm going on another "stupid" rant. I will say that a lot of the "parents" on YA seem to be trolls or are actually the children asking about their own situation. I don't typically ask questions about my children. I did ask a question regarding what others thought of Soulja Boys (and I really don't care how you spell his name) "music" (if you could call it that). I stated my own opinion, but was looking for what others thought about the things we hear on TV and radio today. Most of the "parenting" questions, especially in this section, usually turn out to be not asked by a parent. Or the parents are just ignorant. I really have no idea.

I agree to a point. there is a lot of offensive people on here but there is also a lot of people who are not. I find people get their back up abuot the simplest things on here though and get really defensive. So someone posted a question or an answer you didn't agree with is there REALLY a need to email them? and after you get his email is there REALLY a need to post another 'question' to attack the person who was originally offended so you both can get into a public argument?

I really do fear for the safety of some kids on here lol. I think some people go to bed still riving over some of the answers they read.

I will get a lot of thumbs down for THAT one!

How many of these people are actually parents? Maybe they are just immature teens pretending to be a parent to get a rise out of people.

Bear in mind that at least half of the questions and answers are being posted by kids themselves, not parents.

the parent who pisses me off the most is Nikki Sep. She went on what i think is the most stupidest rant in the history of rants. She was all like "omg, the 5th graders on my daughter's bus are singing Soljah Boy. Now she's gonna be obsessed with sex. Whaaa!"

She spelled Soulja Boy wrong. I mean come on. If your gonna bash somethin know how to spell it. Those songs are just dancing songs. I could make a rap song that goes "Pink bunnies are fluffy." over and over again, and if it had a good beat, people'd like it. They don't sit down and analyze the lyrics to every song they hear. GOD!

well, some parents have a point, others just have crazy answers. I guess it depends on if you can see their point of view or not. whatevs though, you can't stop someone from answering.
