how about Leena for middle name

Having the same letters for first and middle names can cause quite a lot of confusion & mix-ups with bank receipts, transaction details and the like. I would avoid it... But if you have your heart set on it, then please, please give your twins more different sounding names. As twins, they will have to share so much and need a sense of individuality.

There are also different and cute ways to make your twins 'match' without them having such similar sounding names. I think a set of twins (boys) named Leon & Noel (Noel is Leon spelt backwards and vice versa) sounds cute, as is Mya/May & Amy for girls. You could also go with nature themed names, such as Lily & Violet.

Here are some nice girls names that I think you might like: Caitlin, Lauren, Kirstin, Jillian, Megan, Ashlyn, Reagan, Rachel, Shayla, Sonya, Johanna, Elise, Tiana, Eve, Miriam, Kelly, Cathryn, Cara, Cristabel, Madelyn, Jordan, Caroline, Sherie, Tamsin, Cayla, Ryan, Carly, Emlyn, Celia, Cristina, Corrin, Devlyn, Cassidy...

I also prefer the spelling Leane to Leean (I would pronounce Leean as 'lean' with an exaggerated 'e' sound). I actually like the spelling Leanne the best, because that way I know exactly how to pronounce the name (as Lee-Anne).

Good luck!!

I think maybe the names you have chose are too similar. Here are some pretty names that start with the same letters but are totally different from each other. You could mix them around a bit - or even think of some others. :-)

Carmen Leonie
Claudia Louise
Chelsey Lauren
Cassidy Lilac
Celeste Lily
Caitlyn Lola
Chloe Layla
Calista Liberty
Camryn Lucie
Callie Luna
Chynna Lonnie
Coral Leena

I am a twin myself, so I know how important it is to have separate identities. As a twin, you are constantly thought of as a unit . People often call you "the twins" or the "Smith twins", so it is so important to have different names. It may sound cute to you to give your daughters cutesy, similar names, but from the perspective of this grown up twin girl, please don't do it! To compromise, how about just beginning each of their names with the letter "C", but make sure that the names sound and look different? For example, Cara and Chantal or Charlene and Cindy?

um, that sounds cute, but i just wanted to say that im a twin , wel triplet but one is my brother so he doesnt count haha anyways i hate it that my sisters name even rhymes with mine ya know and your two girls are gonna have almost the exact same names. i just dont really think that is a good idea cuz in our case and the case of many other twins you struggle for your own idenity and rhyming or matching names really doesnt help, but if you want the same letters for first in middle names then try switching them like lenae camryn and leane cameryn. that why they still have there own names but you still have what you want by having the same letters ya know. but if you mean you want the initials CL then you should try to find differnt names, or atleast one different one lol. trust me down the road it will benifit all 3 of you haha..but anyways congrats on your twins!!! =) and good luck, i wish you the best,

I do hope you're just kidding. On first glance, it simply looks like you've typed the same exact name twice! Why waste the opportunity to choose TWO names for TWO children? Honestly, the ignorantly matchy twin thing is horribly cliche ... not to mention poorly thought out. If you actually ARE having twins, please pick up a book on the subject. These are actual people ... not Cabbage Patch Kids. With the plethora of research available to you, I'd think you could spend five minutes of your life to check it out. Horrid.

This may sound cute in theory, but I guarantee it's going to cause major headaches down the road if your twins' names are so similar. Consider all the places they're going to wind up together--school, for instance. I guarantee you that their records are continually going to be mixed up, and no one is ever going to be able to keep the spelling of their names straight.

Not to mention the potential nightmare that will be their credit reports when they reach adulthood--even once they move out, the fact that both of them will have the same former address, birthday, last name, and VERY similar first and middle names will mean that their records will almost certainly be jumbled up and intertwined hopelessly.

I know your intentions are good here, but please consider the long-term effects of this and do not inflict this kind of confusion on your children just for the sake of cuteness.

I think you should give them different names. I read it and quickly thought that you were giving them the same exact names. It will be hard for people to tell the difference between them (especially if they're identical) and they probably won't be too happy about having similar names.

I'm a triplet and I'm glad that my mom didn't give me similar names to my triplet brothers (or how every you say it, like 'my twin brother' except triplet). That would just be terrible, Patrick is one of my brothers and I'm glad that she didn't name me Patricia. I understand that it's different because they're both girls, but it will just be alot easier for them if you give them different names. =)

I agree with giving them their own identity and not almost same names. How about you keep the initials the same C and L but work around the names so they can be a little more different. For instance Camryn Leanne And Cara Lynn or Carmen Leanne and Cara Lynn whatever works best for you I guess!!
Congrats on your twins!! All the best
