Just keep offering it too him.
As long as he is still getting 5+ wet diapers, and your doctor is not concerned, there is no need to worry.

Wow, your poor little baby. Although I've never dealt with a cold and teething at the same time, I'd say you're doing what you can. With having a cold, my baby will often eat less, it's hard to nurse/suck a bottle when her nose is clogged. And when she's teething, same thing, it hurts to do much when your teeth are coming in. I don't know how old your son is, but try different sippy cups, try a straw, try a spoon, try a dropper. Also, remember that liquids are really important, so if he isn't eating his solids right now, don't stress. Focus more on the liquids. Offer liquids constantly, always have a bottle ready for him and try getting as much formula/breastmilk in him as possible. As long as he's peeing, he should be ok, especially since you say he's acting really normal. If he starts acting strangely, or if he's lethargic, contact his Dr. again. Goodluck!!!

a baby will not starve themselves and will feed when they are hungry. If they aren't feeling well they are less likely to want to eat/drink very much just like we don't have an appetite when we are sick.
If the doctor isn't worried then I wouldn't be either. Just make sure he is wetting at least one nappy every 6 hours and wait it out. If he is a little bigger than 6-8mths old then one wet nappy in 8hours or take him back to doctor to check for dehydration. Give small sips of water or milk, 15ml every 15-30mins will keep him hydrated.
Just try and relax and if seems happy enough and is still laughing and smiling then don't be worried. The doctor will only start to be concerned when the baby isn't engaging with anyone, isn't weeing and isn't eating for more than a day or so.
So give it time and he'll come round!
best of luck

If he has a cold and cough it may be difficult to breath, which will cause him to be fussy and frequently break away from the bottle. Have you tried a humidifier at night while he sleeps? Also, is he breastfeed or formula? If formula, it maybe upsetting his tummy. The poor little guy has a lot going on. I have a 14 month old son who drove me nuts because he was very sensitive to formula when he was an infant....I finally had to switch to Similac Alimentum. If he has been on the same formula for some time with no problems until now then it is probably a cold in combination with his teething.

Don't get anxious about it as your baby will feel it. Your baby will feed when he is hungry. He won't want to eat when he is ill and the teeth just make it worse. Have you tried diarette for babies to ensure he gets enough salt and liquid?
When he is feeling better he will feed again. As long as he is taking a little, keep persisting but keep it happy even though it can be tempting to force it. Good luck x

Most babies refuse to eat when they are feeling unwell, try giving him an icypole if old enough it will help ease his throat. With the diarrhoea it is suggested to with hold dairy products. If he is still smiling and laughing don't worry to much. Try putting a bit of sugar in boiled water. Of course allow it to cool boiled water will ease his wind. good luck the joys of motherhood

He's probably just got an upset tum - (boiled) water is good. Trouble is, you've got the weekend and then it's Christmas.
I'd book a doctor's appointment for Friday, and cancel if he has perked up by then.
What's his temperature doing? And if over 3 months, have you tried the catch-all remedies of gripe water and a spoonful of Calpol?

Don't worry! your baby doesn't feel good and it is normal he's not hungry. moreover, as long as he has diarrhoea, it is advisable not to feed him. also consider that he doesn't breath well and so he cannot swallow as he normally do. let him drink or eat only on request or very small quantities. as soon as he will get well be sure he will start again being hungry! this is my experience with my two children

As long as he is still happy then dont worry too much.
