Interested to hear stories about this happening to anyone. Whether you still ended up with the c-section or delivered naturally instead.

my best friend is measuring full term since 36.5 weeks (docs have said a big baby???). 3 different due dates of 11th jan(LMP date), 6th jan (7wk ul/s) and 1st jan(18wk ul/s) depending which ultrasound or period date you take. She is booked in for a caeser on the 2nd of January(because of previous caeser) but is thinking she might not make it that far because the doc keeps telling her that she could go at anytime because baby has been measuring full-term for the last 1.5 wks. She has been getting a lot of painful braxton hicks and back pain (not back labour pain) but hasn't had an internal to see if she is thinning or dilating at all so that isn't a guide.

Any stories and circumstances she might be able to relate to? She is happy to procede with a natural delivery if she does go into labour.

so he was inside me without protection for a few seconds or a minute..i dint want unprotected sex so we had later using protection..now i was worried so i took i-pill later on..can i still get pregnant??.....no period yet..

I'm 17 and 6 weeks pregnant. I feel so stupid already so please no one judge me. My boyfriend and my parents are pressuring me to get an abortion but I don't think i could live with myself. My parents have already said no abortion then no place to live. I need some guidance from someone on what I should possibly do.

Her first abortion was about 7-8 months ago
and now she is about 16-19 weeks in. I need to know if that is too late to have the abortion, and if not when is. (We live in Los Angeles CA) also besides emotional damage, would it affect her health in any way? Although I am just a friend in this matter, were close so its kinda emotionally affecting me too.
(Thats why Im asking this question) So I appreciate any help and any extra advice/information that I forgot to ask for.

this is a stupid question seeing that I HAVE A 7MONTH OLD SON. AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME RIGHT NOW BC. My wife and I are both white and have just had a baby. The baby came out pitch black. My wife says her great-grandfather had black genes in him and it sometimes only surfaces in later generations. Could someone explain how this phenomena works.

About a week ago, I was dilated to 1 fingertip, now I am 2 cm and my doctor said that the babies head it right there in my pelvis. My doctor thinks I will have the baby by next week, but I am just curious when I really will, because I heard that sometimes people sit at 2 cm for a long time...

not to say flipping out is unreasonable..
my daughter is very well behaved and has never responded this way after injections an rarely ever has she got on screaming non-stop and unable to console her

she had 6 injections yesterday morning. the normal set and also mmr and chicken pox.
she slept a good bit of the day yesterday and after a long am xmas shopping where she was a little more quiet than usual -today slept most of the afternoon and when she was up she was mostly her normal playful self even though they said she may have pain in her legs. idk. she had a low fever around noon i gave her baby motrin and also at 8 pm when she was a little warm again.
but now she is wigging out. stuffed up
and after 6 shots i opted out of the flu shot for her

any recommendations
or is this the norm for your baby/toddler
what did you do to comfort and at what point would u take her to the hospital

I done one of those home pregnancy tests that dectect pregnancy 5 days before you get your period.I done like 5 of them and they were all positive!! so that makes me 3 weeks nearly 4 weeks pregnant.so I got a blood test done! so would it still be positive or is it too early to get a blood test??

I am 24 weeks pregnant. My husband left for Air Force basic training and didn't even give me room for any of the names I liked. We found out we were having a boy and are thrilled because we have a girl and I know he is excited. He wants to name our son after him minus the middle name.

His name is: Nathan Valentino Cortes

Daugther: Jenissa Leilany Cortes

So he wants to name him Nathan but what gets me is he is not even 1) thinking of a middle name 2) thinking of any other names. I would prefer to have our son with a name that starts with an N or a J. And by the way I love the name Nathan; I just want ideas and he's shutting me out completely. So if I should just let him have his way then any ideas on middle names?? I want to see what he says once he's out of training so any ideas will help and thanks in advance. :-)

Most people I know have well behaved and well mannered kids, but I do know a couple of people who have heathens for children and it drives me nuts -- especially when they come to my home. I typically won't voice my concerns or expectations unless things really get out of hand, but here are some of my expectations:

- No standing, crawling or laying on the furniture (unless it's a bed).

- No eating or drinking throughout the house. That should only be allowed in the kitchen.

- Wash their hands before and after eating.

- No running or jumping in the house.

- No opening closed bedroom doors or going in the refrigerator without asking.

- Do not mess with ANYTHING that doesn't belong to them.

My husband's eight year old niece can be a busy body and has violated ALL of these things. I don't want to hurt her feelings or my inlaw's so I try to be nice when I ask her to behave. The weird thing is that nobody says anything to her. My husband gets offended ...

well in the house i live in theres my husband my son my brother in law and my mother in law and stap fater in law. We all agreed there whould be no smoking in the house!!! i just came back from watching my uncles house for almost 3 weeks and it seems that my stap fater in law has picked up the habit of smoking in the house,it is in his room but we have central heating so you can smell it in all the rooms.... i mean i try so hard not to get my son around smoke i mean i have enough breathing problems as it isand i havent been around that meany smokers in my life and never had it in the housei lived in and my husband has chronic brochitis... i dont want my son who is 8 months old to grow up around smoke and to think that its ok u kno? its there habit they should have to deal with! Right? i know its cold outside but.... i dont know how to go about asking them to quit i mean while we where gone t was fine but now its just pissing me off to know that we all made a vow to not smoke in the..

my 1 mnth old baby was introduced to bottle feeding with infant formula after my c-section. however, she loved breastfeeding but i had fever and sore nipples and again switched over to bottle feeding. Now my milk supply had decreased drastically and she cries while sucking on my milk..I have to give her infant formula most of the time as she is hungry. However i feel very guitly of doing so. Would it harm my baby's digestion if she is given more formula? I ever extract my milk and put it in bottle..but it is very less..sometimes not more than 2 oz..sometimes even less...tell me what to do??

This was a similar problem with my oldest daughter and she kind of fixed it herself. But what are some good ways to not make your daughter scared to poop in the potty? She will go pee but not poop.
