Probably not because we all know that vasectomies are not 100% so no!

probably not unless it was stated in a contract signed by both the operating doctor and the patient. Something I don't think any doctor would agree too.

I would say the person having the vasectomy should have known its never ever 100% for any birth control. Or the person lied about having a vasectomy or the woman slept around and is lying about paternity.

That is why you are supposed to go back twice to have your sperm count done.

I used condoms for about a year after having mine (six months past the second "all clear"). I still use them with any woman that is not also sterilized like me.

I did all this because I don't want children at all.

No sex, with anyone, is worth the risk of an unplanned pregnancy.

Nope. Before having the elective procedure, you are asked to sign a liability waiver from the doctor in case something like this happens.

Ask a lawyer, but probably not. They most likely warned you about the risk of failure when they did the procedure. Having it done anyway means you accepted the risks, including the risk that it might not work.
