not to say flipping out is unreasonable..
my daughter is very well behaved and has never responded this way after injections an rarely ever has she got on screaming non-stop and unable to console her

she had 6 injections yesterday morning. the normal set and also mmr and chicken pox.
she slept a good bit of the day yesterday and after a long am xmas shopping where she was a little more quiet than usual -today slept most of the afternoon and when she was up she was mostly her normal playful self even though they said she may have pain in her legs. idk. she had a low fever around noon i gave her baby motrin and also at 8 pm when she was a little warm again.
but now she is wigging out. stuffed up
and after 6 shots i opted out of the flu shot for her

any recommendations
or is this the norm for your baby/toddler
what did you do to comfort and at what point would u take her to the hospital

sweet jane-- i must admit- i cringe everytime i take her for injections not bc of the pain of the injection but for having absolutely no trust that our gov't cares enough for the wellbeing of our children to insure that these MANDATEd vaccines are truly safe and necessary
----if they help wonderful but ----
lets not forget tuskegee and lsd given to our troups amongst many other exposures to sickness and unsafe drugs intentionally given to a general population
also by covert gov't mandate and consent
ahhhh

but i am still a mommy and still hopeful and love my child and want her to be healthy

My daughters are both 14 months old and normally extremely well behaved, to the point that I can literally go 2+ days without hearing the slightest whimper out of either of them, let alone an actual cry. But, when they get their injections they get very very sleepy for anywhere from a few days to a week and a half, especially when they have a lot of live virus injections, and if they don't nap A LOT during those days, by the evening they just cry and cry and scream and then they're overtired and can't fall asleep so they just scream. I've been told by my pediatrician that it's normal and unless they're showing signs of an allergic reaction, or they have a high fever, or a fever for to long then not to worry about taking them to the hospital. As far as her being overtired, which sounds like it could be the problem, what works best for my girls is to just one at a time I rock them and rub their backs, sing to them, not for long usually about 5 minutes each and then I lie them back down and usually they're relaxed enough to fall asleep then. As for tomorrow, if she still seems a little groggy ortired, have her nap as much as she needs or as much as you can get her to sleep. Live virus injections while very benefitial can bombard their tiny little immature immune systems, so they often react as if they have a cold or infection of some sort, which as i'm sure you know causes people to feel tired and run down. My suggestion would be to watch for a high fever, my dr. says at their age 104+ take them in immediately, 102+ take them in after a couple of hours if you can't get it to drop. Also watch for allergic reactions, she should have had a reaction by now, but just keep an eye open anyway. Otherwise let her get as much rest and sleep as you can, it does wonders for moods.

My kids' legs were extremely hot and sensitive to the touch where they had their shots. So much so that they couldn't stand the feeling of pants or blankets on their legs.
Maybe turn the heat up a little and keep her in just a warm shirt and some socks and see if that gets her to stop screaming.
Also, motrin is really good for the bad pains with babies. Works better, faster, and longer than tylenol.

It's very normal for a baby to be fretful and run a slight temp after getting their series of vaccines. They are achy, fussy, and sore. If her temp doesn't go over 101' she's doing well. Continue to give baby tylenol and motrin (alternate each dose) which will help her feel better soon. Having a stuffy nose is often part of it after they've cried a lot. Be gentle when you hold her or change her because her legs probably hurt. Give her a couple more days and she'll be fine.

I don't think its necessary to put a child through 6 shots at a time. I hear that vaccines might be the cause of autism in most children with a bad immune system. They recommend to do one shot at a time rather than do 6 at a time.

If in three days she doesn't get better I would take her to be seen right away. Take care and wish you well

If you are concerned about vaccinations, which your 'additional details' seemed to indicate, maybe you could read up on specifics of each one ahead of time.

This is a link to a forum, with the topic of vaccinations. Mothers who are anti, pro, delayed, or selective vax.

There is amazing information on there, most site their sources, and they are usally from government sites or medical journals. Maybe it can give you some good information for the future.

btw, you said these mandated vaccines, and I wasn't sure if you knew, that mandated wasn't the same as required. Vaccines are not required for school. Most people aren't aware.

Hope your baby feels better! :]

Ugh, I feel for you!! I don't know if that is normal, but I wouldn't think so. That stuff put into her is disgusting and none of us know the long term consequences. Monkey brain, rat intestines.....I know it is all so your child doesn't get sick, but getting sick from the shots seems pretty awful too. I would suggest a pedeitrician visit tomorrow if she is not better...and a hospital visit tonight if she persists!!
