Around my ovulation time, two weeks ago, I had this white kindof stretchy substance that i noticed after sex. Any one else had this? I never have it anyother time. Is this a sign of ovulation?

i have a 19 month old son and i am currently living at home with my parents. his father hasnt really tried to see him very much in the past but now that he has started coming around more and more my son seems so distant from him. its weird because when his dad used to come once or twice a week and see him for only 15 min my son was in love with him, but now that he comes almost every day i notice that my little boy cant stand to be around him. when he tries to hold him he kicks and screams and then calms down as soon as he is put down.
so my questions are:
why does it seem that the more his father comes around, the more he hates him? and...
is there somethin i can do to strengthen thier father/son bond? because his father is really trying

I babysit an 18 month old and she will litterally hold a bite of food in her mouth for an hour until she either chokes on it or spits it out on my carpet. What can I do? She's not my kid and I never had this problem with my children. Her parents are less than concerned with the fact that she does this but I am sick of having spit filled mush food on my carpet. What can I do to stop her from this or to get her to swallow that last bite? I have tried making her sit in her high chair until she swallows but she doesn't care.

After my fiance and i had sex, she started her period on time a week later. She was on BC(for about 1month and 2 weeks), and switched BC the start of her 3rd month. She just had surgery last Friday 12/14/07, in which the nurse did a routine PT and came back negative. She tested herself 11/27/07 and one in early december, both came out neg. She was spotting all last week, heavier as the week went on( pinkish, but then later in the week redish) She started her (period)placebo pill last Sunday(12/16/07) which she is experiencinng a very abnormal period, but its still red. After the surgery, which was unrelated to her period or anything she was put on antibiotics and pain killers. She finished her antibiotics a few days ago, and stopped taking the pain killers due to feeling naseaus and didnt want to be couped up. I guess, my question is could she still be pregnant? i would think the test her nurse did before the surgery would be accurate and reliable. Are the medications she was taking

As December approached I became very excited because I thought my son would really get into Christmas this year. I LOVE the holidays and I am so excited for him to believe in Santa and feel the magic I did when I was a child. So...I've been talking and talking to him about santa...we've watched every Christmas movie there is to watch...and Saturday we visted santa at the mall. It didnt go great, he was scared (as I am sure most children are) and so we left with no picture. What else can I do to help him to understand that santa comes on Christmas Eve and etc. I really want him to get into it? Oh we will also be baking as a family on Sunday to make Christmas cookies for Santa.

Ok, so I have been having a tightening in my stomach and I think it may be braxton hicks, but idk how to tell because it seems like if she presses on my stomach it makes it tighten up as well, and i dont really know how to tell if she is pushing against it or not. my concern is that I have had quite a few of these tonight, what is the normal range/count of these. Like how many of these are ok to have, and how can i tell the differance in them?

my dad is really abusive likes to hit me around has also done some other things i'd prefer not to say and my mom has m.s. and drinks and smokes a lot with her meds...shes also hit me around and recently i started to fight back against it i called cps (who didnt even investigate the claims) ive tried and tried to get out any way possible & nothing works its been really pushing me to my limits and on thursday i had a choir concert and i just broke down i didnt leave my room until tuesday afternoon i also didnt go to school friday monday tuesday wensday and i got really weird when i was cutting i couldnt control myself and then i got this horrible nightmare that became a hallucination (i think?) and my shrink doesnt believe me like he ever has and everyone has stopped listening to me so today i just snapped i got in a fight with mom and wrote on her door some awful things in my blood and started breaking christmas ornaments and and yelling and i borrowed without permission the car and

my boyfriend & I usually use a condom and Im a Birth control but sometimes he likes to slip it in before actaully putting on a condom. One night thats what he did and everything was fine and he finished in the condom but the next night I somehow lost my pill, to be safe I took the morning after pill (Plan B) is there still a chance I could get pregnant from precome (if any) before slipping on the condom?

I went to the hospital back in october because i was experiencing very heavy bleeding in a short time. They said it was only an abnormal period. My periods have been late since then and when I do have them it has been only spotting. I have had the pregnancy symptoms like swollen breasts, morning sickness, urination frequency, and increased appetite. I finally went to the doctor to see what was wrong and he did two blood tests in the same week. The first one came back positive but the second one came back negative. Could I actually be pregnant and the second test be wrong? I would be far enough along to know for sure with a blood test.

I am 26 years old, I took a plea bargain for a felony when I was 22. Fresh out of college at my first job I got involved with some people including my boss who was taking money from the company. Now I'm 6 months pregnant, am unable to obtain employment, have no transportation and am not able to obtain subsidized housing. I don't want to have to leave my baby at the hospital. My church doesn't have the means to offer assistance Are there any programs or something or someway for me to be able to take care of this baby that I am not aware of...Please don't tell me about how I made stupid choices and it's my problem...I know all this-I need help I have 3 months to find a way to keep this baby.
