My daughter started at 9 months, but this is on the early end of normal. It really varies. My sister's kids all walked between 11 and 13 months. I think most Dr. want children to walk by 15 months.

My son was 9 1/2 months and my daughter was 9 months.

But I have known kids who were not walking at 21 months, which is the late end of normal. Anything past two years is considered delayed.

My son isn't full out walking yet, but he started cruising furniture just before he turned 7 months. He is making attempts at walking without holding onto anything now, but still a little wobbly yet!
