i started having sex at 19. i was happy with my decision to wait because i ended up marrying my first! my aunt has found out that her twins 16, are having sex now and neither are really taking using protection seriously. i feel that teens are starting so young now and finding people like jamie lynn spears pregnant worries me. why is it so popular to start early. isn't that disrespecting your body in a way? why not wait until you find someone you truly love. even if it's at 16, fine. but take responsibility and protect yourself. 16 is too young to become a mommy. i am not dissing anyone who has started young and is a mom now. my aunt was 13 when she became pregnant. she's now 19 and has two and both are healthy and happy babies. i by no means am trying to offend anyone. i guess i'm trying to understand why it's the "cool thing".

I got it put in about 5 months ago, but have yet to go back and get my strings checked. also, i've been eating like crazy, constantly tired, and randomly threw up out of nowhere last night. please help...another baby is just not right for me right now!!

I am 15 weeks pregnant and I have to take the test in about a month. For the past 3 years I have been extremely cautious about staying away from sugars of all kinds (even fruit.) I don't feel good when I eat sugar, and it gives me a rash.

The problem is, they are going to make me drink this sugary mixture (YUCK). Since I never eat sugar, I don't know how my body will handle it, and I don't want to be labeled as "high risk" when I know I am eating right for my baby.

Anyone hear of any ways to "pass" the diabetes test. I heard that almonds help your body digest sugar. Any other ideas? Should I start eating sugar now, so that my body can handle the sugar test?

I am a pregnant teen!
I am 17 and 5 months pregnant I live with my husband
I have been on my own since 15 and living with him He is 20 years old not really a teen He makes enough money to support us and the baby and have plenty left over. He has one more test to get a licence to add to the other he has and he can start his own heating and air business.We are not struggling to make ends meet. We dont get checks from the government I do have Medicaid because Im not old enough to go on the insurance with maternaty.MY HUSBAND PAYS TAXES TO.We only use my insurance at the doctor not medicine and such We have our own house and land that we are buying We will own our land before age 30 thats better than a lot of others Im going to college to be an Accountant and will pay out of pocket not with a check from government tax payers.
NOW why do people have such a problem with all this. I am doing better then the majority of parents that are not teens. NOT all teens are irrisponsible I know many

last night at her bedtime feeding she ate like normal then 2 hours later vomited it all up and fell asleep then woke up many times through out the night , not with cries but whinong and grunting of discomfort , i gave her some tylenol so she could finally sleep a bit and she did for 2 hours in the swing, this morning she ate and then 2 hours later threw it all up all over , . then next feeding it came all right back up and she fell asleep ,she woke up today and is very mellow no talking from her like usual she seems a bit lathargic.. should i take her to the hospital today ? or wait out today and see? i dont know how else to kee her hydrated help ! ( and she is 5 1/2 months old)

I'm on bc pills but I missed like 3 weeks of taking them. My last period was Nov 15th & me & my husband had unprotected sex around Dec. 8th. I'm about 1 week late. For the past week my breast have been sore, I have to use the bathroom a lot, more tired than usual, lower back pain, mild cramping, frequent headaches, nauseous, etc. Today I had some light bleeding almost pink with some discharge. I had irregular periods when I was 14/15, got on birth control pills. I have been on them 7-8 years continuous. I have stopped them now for about 3-4 months, my husband and I are TTC and nothing. I don't think that I am ovulating from checking my cervical mucus. I don't want to go to the doctor and her tell me to wait it out, then I wasted 25 dollars. i am on my last two bottls of formula and I have no way to get anymore. I am such a stupid worthless mom that I lost my wic coupons, and my sons formula is pregestimil which is 30 dollars for a 1 lb can. I don't know what to do. When I was very young I got pregnant by a much older boy well my step dad was a mean man and treated me and my brothers badly my mom didnt know when I was 15 i told my school and they came and took my daughter and prooved my family unfit but it was just my step dad they said b/c I was inancipated there was nothing else they could so they just took my daughter and put her with her fathers mother ( her father was in jail) well at the time I couldnt really do anything so I got supervised weekend visitations well I am older now and married and have a home and I have full weekends with her but when I get her I have three other kids and she bullys them and wont do anything nice and gets mad when she dont get anything form the store or get to go somewere I would be happy to buy her the world but I really dont have the money and when she gets in trouble for being mean to her siblings or dont get something she wants she want come back or talk to me for weeks what should I do?

Why do we have seat restraints on carnival rides, roller coasters, cars, trucks, Hi chairs, car seats, etc. But we have no restraints in school buses, too expensive, well is one seat belt worth a childs life?

How can I help keep a kid quiet? I'm babysitting again tomorrow night and the kid shrieks a lot. I was babysitting him last night and he didn't scream but he did the previous time I babysat. He mainly shrieks when I step out of the room for a minute or two (to use the restroom) or even if I'm just there. If I'm sitting next to him he'll start screaming and shrieking. He's 7, he's not trying to tell me anything, he's just screeching for the joy of it. How can I save my ears from the wretched screaming?

I just moved, and have set up an appointment with a GYN doctor. I don't care much whether it's a guy or girl, but she happens to be a girl. My question is... What do GYN doc's really think when they're "down there"? My old ob/gyn only ever saw me because I was pregnant, and I didn't care what she thought then, but now.. I just worry about the silliest details. I guess... I don't know, I want to know if it makes their job easier if you shave/wax before a visit, what if I have a busy day and can't do a quick clean up job before I'm seen, will she judge, do you think? HELP! :(

Any thoughts, comments, funny stories... anything would help really, just let me know I'm not the only one who worries about this silly stuff :(

And all of this was bought for with my own $$, but my husband just thinks I did too much.

One of the kids is 2, so I got him a Magna Doodle, a pair of jeans, pair of sweats, 2 shirts, pair of boots, 2 coloring books & 2 reading books.

The other kid I nanny is 3 months old, I got him 2 outfits, a teether, box of blocks for when he's older, and a blanket.

Too much or not enough??

I am 19 years old, and I'll be 20 in march. I just found out I was pregnant about a week ago. I've already told my boyfriend, but I am not sure how to tell my mom. I just have this weird feeling that she will be very upset with me, and I don't know why. Ok- this is a tough one. My son was suspended from school today along with another little boy for 2 days. My son found empty bullet shells in our garage and at the bottom of the box, an old 9mm bullet. He never told us he found it-he told his friend at school he found it and he asked my son to bring it in. My son hesitated and said no on Monday-then Tuesday he asked him again-he caved and brought it in today. The math teacher caught them and whalla! Principles office. When I picked him up she said he was very honest about it but made a huge wrong choice at school! My husband has spoken to him about gun safety, knife safety, etc. and like me (admittedly) he thought that a bullet wouldn't harm anyone without a gun. The other kid's Dad is more furious with his own son because he is a Sheriff and his son he feels should know better than mine. Other than the suspension-what other punishment would a fellow parent recommend and for how long? This one is tough for me...

be able to have known if I was pregnant. I did ask him how my cervix was and he said it was in the middle? So I said does that mean I'm not pregnant he said No that doesnt mean that.
