I'd just pick out one that you like, the only thing that would really look out of place would be pink or purple and I haven't seen a lot of cribs like that. The sheet you put on it will probably be more "masculine" looking than the actual crib. We got ours from JC Penny, its solid wood and very sturdy. It transforms into about a million different things that supposedly last a child for their entire life (until they move out anyways), but we've only ever used it as a crib. Here's a link to the JC Penney cribs:

I think any color of crib is good for either boy or girl. Many will say that a white crib is too feminine, however. I think as long as the style is neutral, go with whatever you like. Stay away from Jenny Lind cribs for a boy, for example.

I like the cribs that have the stationary rail. They feel more solid to me and if your baby is a crib shaker, that will be important.

Congratulations on your little guy!

Pretty much anything other than pink will be just fine. Stockcraft is a great company that's rather inexpensive. I got my son a 3-in-1 crib from walmart for under $200 that he'll be able to use for a long time. It goes from a crib, to a toddler bed, to a Full-size bed. Unless he breaks it some how he'll be using it all through his teenage years. I ordered mine in Natural finish.

My suggestion for buying furniture....Don't buy anything specifically for a boy. You may want to use the crib, changing table, rocker for future children so you don't want to spend a ton of money on gender specific items. Who knows?....you may have 3 girls after this!!! Find a crib that is well built and meets all safety standard. You can buy boyish themed decor to give the nursery that little boy charm!!!
