I think it largely depends on the parent them self. If you can have patients and are a SAHM I would say you could do it. It would be a wonderful job.. I also think the motives for wanting 3 under the age of 5 are also a factor as well. I have 2 year old twins and I would have another now If i could, only reason we are putting off another child is because we are not in a financial situation at the moment to add another to the family. We do plan on getting pregnant in the next year so we will still have 3 under the age of 5. I personally think that having my twins has been a BIG job, a lot of learning and a lot of patients, but all in all I feel now at age 2 they are easier than having a single child. They have someone to play with all the time, they are always entertained if not by myself than by their sister.. so its wonderful.. Do what you feel is best for your family.. If you have one and it goes good, than consider a second, if you have your second and your happy and not overwhelmed, than consider a third.. do what is best for your situtation when that time comes..

I would say from experience. SOMETIMES YES!!!!!!! and then most days no. i feel if u can take care of two u can take care of three. it's all about the routine of things. u keep your routine and a good meal/bathing schedule u should be pretty set. now i'm not talking about the financial stand point. but at times u can be overwhelmed if u dnt get much help. but it's better in the end becuz if you're done in a couple of yrs u would be so indepent u'll have all the freedom u want and won't be so hard pressed for a baby sitter.

i have 3 children under five and think it depends on ur personality whether it is too much. I am tired and get little time to myself, but i feel truly blessed and wouldn't be without them for the world. Though my best friend has four under 6 and she looks even paler than me!!
(b4 anyone asks, we both have husbands at work so are not benefit scroungers lol)

We have three children under 6 and it is great fun! Never a dull moment!
The elder ones entertain the baby while I wash up, and the younger ones sleep at the same time (Bliss!)

You are skimming the edges of what is enough and what is too much. My two siblings and I were only a year apart from each other and the first five years of our eldest's life was the most chaotic time of our parents' lives. We totally took over the house and their lives. The living room was our playground, we rode our tricycles around the house. By the time the eldest was five, our mother was at the brink of a nervous breakdown.

Plenty of work!
I have 3, but they are spaced out in age, my Friend had three under 5years old, and she aged about 10 years!! No lie!
She has grey hair and every thing.
If you feel up to it go for it!

I personally liked spending quality time with each one before the next one came along.
