Blood in the urine sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), or Kidney infection- which can cause the child to have flu like symptoms including fever and lathargia. He needs to be treated with an antibiotic- usually amoxicillin, or something similar. In the mean time- it is important to keep him full of fluids so he doesn't become dehydrated.

Yeap sounds like a Urinary tract infection. He may need antibiotics to clear this up. I fleft untreated it could travel to the kidneys. UTI's are very common and if treated properly there will be no problems. He needs to see MD or at least call MD and let them know. Good luck, encourage extra water, but not to much as he is only 10 months.

At 10 months any sign of blood in a diaper is serious. Its important that they travel to see a doctor.

He has a UTI or something internal is going on, no matter where you live, this baby needs to see a doctor TODAY! Really, those things are painful. It's possible he got dehydrated from the flu and his kidneys are acting up so his parents need to go NOW!

Call a doctor, that way you don't have to drive a million miles to see one. Tell them what is going on and see if they can offer any advise.

Sounds like a possible kidney infection. That needs medical attention no matter what. Blood in urine is never a good thing.

he prob. either has a very bad infection on the outside or inside of the penis. Rural area or not he needs a dr. pronto!
leaving things like this alone are not good for the baby's health. Don't freak out just get him somewhere where he can be examined and let them handle it from there

No matter how hard it is, he needs to see a doctor. This means that his kidneys could be damaged and it's much better to hassle to see a doctor and have nothing wrong than do nothing and have him become very ill.
