If you pump, you might try putting breast milk in a sippy cup or a cup with a straw or just a small cup without a lid. Mix in a little whole cow's milk with the breast milk. Every few days add a little more cow's milk and a little less breast milk. Some babies don't care for the taste of whole milk at first and mixing it with what they are used to can get them used to the taste. Some children really don't ever develop a strong taste for cow's milk. If she will eat whole milk yogurt, cheese, and dark green vegetables like broccoli, she will get an adequate amount of calcium in her diet. If you have not offered her liquid in any type of cup yet, you might want to start with water or diluted juice. She should be eating a well-balanced diet of mostly table foods now so she is not dependent on breast milk as much for the bulk of her nutritional intake. Some of her desire to breast fed is likely based in her use of nursing for comfort. Try giving her a "lovey" when she is nursing. Something like a stuffed animal, a blanket, a pillow, or a doll. She will begin to associate comfort with this "lovey" as well as nursing and may make a better transition in the weaning process. I breast fed my youngest until she was 14 months old. She is 10 years old now and still sleeps with the small stuffed cat she got when she was 12 months old.

I know this is totally not what you're expecting but try the breast milk in a cup. If that does work then do that for a few days then start adding a little cows milk to it and then adding more and more until there is no breast milk in the cup. If that doesn't work try adding a little nesquick to it(a very small amount) and see if that peaks her interest. Also don't suddenly take the breast away. That will make things much worse. Offer food and cup during the daytime feedings one by one. Then the morning one. Like take away one breastfeeding session every 3-5 days. Leaving the bedtime one for last to get rid of. I hope that hleps

Actually, if you don't give her breast milk at all, when she gets sick there won't be so much mucus porblems. Just thought I would add that. But if you want her to be drinking cows milk, make sure its warm, and put in a little with more breast milk. Keep adding a little more cows milk. Just make sure she doesn't experience any problems because of cows milk. And, like I said, just know that cows milk (and pretty much all dairy products) increase mucus stuff when sick.
Hope this helped!

She will eventually adapt to the new taste of cows milk. She is used to her milk being "flavored" by all the things you ate. In time she will grow accustomed to cow's milk. Experiment with giving it at different temperatures. My last baby would not drink it warm he loves it stone cold right out of the fridge.
You must determine that you are done with the breast and gently tell her "no more" and then give her her cup of milk. She will come around.

I'd stop offering her the breast. Put the breast milk in a sippy cup. Chances are, she won't want that, either. If she does, slowly start adding milk to it until it's all milk. She only needs 8-16 oz milk per day, so as long as she's eating well, it's not an issue. Most of her nutrients should come from actual food.

Its your toddler and your milk so do what your pleased with. i know a few people who breastfeed their little ones till at last they have been 2. I breastfeed as long as my milk became into there. Dairy is puzzling in all its varieties it kills me so ice cream is all i myself could have and easily in small quantities. in case you % to pump and breast it till at last your new child is 4 and you may furnish a healthful quantity decide for it. Your mommy and as long as your little ones are nicely dealt with and not malnourished do what you acquire to do. merely a facet be conscious I easily have seen specials on breastfeeding and the communicate on the age to supply up, this woman breastfeed till at last her young little ones till at last they have been six. i could no longer breastfeed that long through fact it would extraordinary me out, somewhat, yet I advise to each there own. it somewhat is unlucky that society has made it slightly taboo to breastfeed over a undeniable age and why cows milk i do no longer know yet we are a based united states and we purchase whats there and seen ok no count number if or no longer it somewhat is extra advantageous for us (hi stupid gas who's paying 5.00 a gallon for something thats ruining our atmosphere?) so till we are in a position to discover something that supplies each and every thing breast milk does yet does not come from an animal all you have is rice and soy and that i think they might desire to be fortified so i'm unsure if it compares to breast milk. Sorry appropriate to the long message I merely enjoyed breastfeeding and that i myself desire extra human beings gave it a raffle. good luck!

Why stop breastfeeding? The WHO states that BFing should continue for 2 years! She is only going to be little for a short time. Enjoy the bonding!
