I am going in to have my cerclage removed this week. I am 36 weeks pregnant, and just want to know what to expect as the doctor takes the stitch out. I have read all the websites and professional information already. I am really looking for others' experiences. Was it painful? Thank you!

Hello, I was wondering if being induced is really that big of deal? I keep hearing people say it takes them forever and they end up in c-section. If you go in already dialated to a 3 and 80% effaced do you think it will still take forever? NO HORROR STORIES PLEASE I'M ALREADY NERVOUS

Me and my boyfriend had sex without protection. We want a child and for the last 2 months we have been trying in the first month he spermed inside but i still had my period even though he did that atleast 5 times.This month we tryed again.....And i was supposed to have my period 2 days ago.Were so exited...i have had some symtoms but maybe there just my head.....so im wondering if anyone knows any symtoms not the basic ones but the ones you expirience..it will really help

Hello, this is my second child 1st one came 16 days early never lost my plug so I don't know what it looks like. I think (from what I have heard) a little just came out. It looked like snot tinged with blood. I am 39 wks being induced on Tuesday but hopes it will happen before then. Does anyone think the end is near? Oh and I am 80% effaced.

let me start by saying this my 4 year old was abused & neglected by his birth mother, so i know thats why he wont eat (he usually insists on eatting a little debbie snack cake - which is what she would always feed him because she had the munchies) we finally convinced him (by the hardest) to eat a few foods mac & cheese, rice & gravy, mashed potatoes, nuggets. but if its not the exact same brand (ex kraft mac & cheese) he wont eat it. does anyone have any tips that i can try to get him to try new foods, it just sucks becasue not all places serve what he eats, & when we go eat out he wont eat & its so embarassing.

Well ok, im here paranoid, well i had my first sex encounter the 1st of February a condom was used and everything went well, it was about 2 days before my period ended, ok well after that i felt really sick and i instantly assumed i was pregnant because i am so afraid of pregnancy well for 2 weeks after the incident i was very sick to my stomach and nauseas, on the 15th i took a urine test at the doctors office it turned out negative and the 20th i took a HPT negative too, my symptoms went away for like a week now they are back, i feel like my lower stomach is swollen/bloated and ive been getting watery discharge,my breast seem to me to be swollen, and im constipated my period is due any day now...is this pregnancy symptoms or is this my period comming on soon?

I have a 18 year old daughter who lives with her 1 year old baby in my house. Since she dropped out of highschool, she's at home doing not much. I really want her to finish her education, so that one day she'll be able to be independent. She is not sure what she wants to do and she's not very keen to start something. I feel, that by now, my granddaughter is old enough to spend some hours in daycare, so that my daughter could either start looking for a job or go back to school. My daughter feels, that since her Dad pays child support for her, there is no need to work and everything else will just happen one day. But for me it has nothing to do with money, but everything with taking charge of your own life. I was a young mother myself, but I've finished college with 2 kids (now I have 4 and the youngest is 3) and I've worked all my life. How can I help my daughter to get on her own feet and off my back? What are her responsibilities and what are mine?

Im 39 weeks and im due the 28th. BUT the wait is killing me some people tell me to exercise some say eat alot how that would help i dont no cuz i eat alot on a regular basis and my baby has yet to come so does anybody no a way to kinda speed this up? OH and im only 2 centimeters dilated and since ive only got 4 days left is that good or bad?

Shes getting them right at about 80%, she will read the letters off of our tee shirts, ect..Is this normal? My 4 year old is only getting about 20% of them right, but she has always seemed a little behind her peers. How old do kids usually start recognizing letters on paper and telling you what letter it is?

My daughter is showing signs that she might be ready to be potty trained (she's 26 mos). She lets us know when she has a poopy diaper, and she'll watch mommy use the toilet and flushes it when it's done. I've purchased a small potty chair which she happily sits on fully clothed. She will also go through the motions of pretend wiping and placing the TP in the potty chair, and will even try to wash her hands. A couple days ago I tried to take the next step and coaxed her to sit on the potty chair with her pants pulled down, but she's afraid to sit on it bare-bottom. We've also gone through the trick of potty-training her teddy bear, but she still won't sit on the toilet, unless her pants are pulled up. Any suggestions? Should I keep trying daily to get her to do this, or should I back off for a month or two?

i just found out that i dont have gestational diabetes and i have been craving donuts so bad! i keep reading all the tings you cant have because they have weird ingredients, like uncooked egg whites in some sauces etc.. i just want to know if there are any other pregnant women who enjoyed donuts while they were pregnant.

i have had blood and protein in my urine for 3 weeks they did a clean urine check with a negative outcome as far as for a uti but i know something is not right, considering its been burning when i go to the bathroom, what can this be? i also have extreme lower back pain, my urine looks like oil and water is the best way i can describe it i go for my c-section march 1st

I was going on holiday and needed updating on jabs and injections for travelling. I was unaware that I was pregnant at that time and took a typhoid jab at GPs. I then had a reaction to this jab and was rushed to hospital by GP. At hospital I was given steroids and piriton, paracetamols etc to recover from the allergic reaction. During travel holiday, we found out, I was pregnant and has had constant stomach pain and been sick quite often. My 1st pregnancy went fine. Although I have had pain continuously, I have NOT had any bleeding etc. What should I do? My GP is closed over weekend and not sure if hospital will be able to help or check. should I go? Please help I am really worried and scared.
