Donuts are safe in pregnancy. The concern with you would be the diabetes. How is your diabetes treated? What did the dr say about your diet?? Do you have to test your blood sugar? Do you require insulin??

They are safe, everything is cooked so even if there were egg whites, it would be okay.

My concern would be limiting, if you eat more than one or two a day, those calories are going to pack on as fat and you'll have a hard time dropping it after birth. Also when you look at the corn syrup and other chemicals, that's just not good for anyone, pregnant or not. You can make your own donuts, it's so easy....

Yes, you can eat donuts. The things I was told to avoid were uncooked eggs, uncooked meat, and sushi (also uncooked). Oh, and unpasturized cheese, like feta and bleu cheese salad dressing. Other than that, you can eat pretty much what you want. Just try to control how much you eat, because the more you gain now, the more you have to lose later. Good luck!

I've eaten more donuts while pregnant than ever before! :) Boy are they delicious. I've never liked sweets so much before and the funny thing is that I haven't gained much weight either, other than normal weight gain. Eat and enjoy! :)

Yes, but it can be messy. My first son kicked the glass of milk off of my wife's stomach while she was munching a donut!

if you have gestational diabetes than no more than one or two, you need to watch you sugar intake very closely. Try foods sweetened with splenda, calorie free and not real sugar....and it tastes almost just like real sugar.

get the little tiny ones and have just 2 or 3, you should be fine =P the most important thing is, youre showing concern. a lot of pregnant women will just eat anything, thinking :"hey im pregnant, i can eat anything i want!"
