I am 36.5 wks and I am 2cm, 50% efface, and pluse 1 stage I am so ready for this baby I have tryed sex in which it worked for my first pregnancy, walking it just makes me tried and then I tryed castor oil it kinda of works it made me have a lot of contractions the first day and dyed off the second i have had very little and today I really want to get labor started

She's just difficult, or at least it's hard for me to figure out how to do things...
Examples:
She doesn't want to hold her sippy cup, no matter how much I try to encourage her to do it.
She won't let me read to her, she snatches the book and starts chewing on it.
She won't let me feed her! yet she won't eat finger foods, and if I give her a spoon to feed herself, she just bangs on the tray and makes a mess... she won't let me help her put food in the spoon, so I'm afraid she's not getting enough food in her belly...
I try talking to her pediatrician, but he's not very "comunicative" (a.k.a, helpful)

What can I do?...

One of my friends and a friend of our family, has one child that's four, and just had a new baby a couple of months ago. She is fairly young (just turned 21), and lives with her mom along with the two kids. The fathers of the children are in their lives thankfully and help her to take care of them. For awhile, she was holding down a job but lately that is not the case. Now she doesn't go to work, sleeps all day, and there is speculation among my friends and family that she might possibly be pregnant again. She revealed to my mom that she hasn't been to work in weeks and is on the verge of being fired. She drops her kids off with friends and family so that she can sleep during the day. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if she wasn't turning around to party at night. While my friend is out with her friends at night and on the weekends, her mom is at home with her kids at night. While taking care of the four year old at night isn’t much work, taking care of the four month old

I have a 9 month old daughter. During the night she sleeps nine straight hours wakes up for milk then sleep another 2 hours... but during the day she is awake 13 hours and she only sleeps noce or twice and only 30 minutes counted with the clock and to get her to sleep those 30 minutes I spend almost 45 trying to get her to sleep... How can I make her sleep more or how can I make her go to sleep in a easier way??? Please!!!

I am having such a hard time picking out a breast pump. I definitly want a AVENT one because i already have the bottles, pacifiers and everything. But i am a single mother & a working mom. So i will need to pump a lot of milk. Especially every other weekend i will need to pump 120 oz atleast. SOOO i realy neeed help on which kind of breast pump i should get. I had my membranes stripped on Thursday and I was 3 cm and 80%. Afterwards I started seeing blood tinged mucus and was loosing little bits all day and part of the next then it stopped. Then Friday night I started having contractions about 15 min apart for a few hours then nothing for an hour and then they came back at 15 min apart for a few hours. This has been going on since late Friday night. Also this morning I lost another big glob of mucus that was a lighter shade of blood and the contractions are still coming and going. Does this mean that I could be in labor and that I have dialated some more since I lost more plug or am I still in waiting for the real thing. I am also 41 weeks today and the doctors office is closed so I would have to go to L&D to get checked, which is fine. Just wanted some opinions first. Thanks

Last year I had some really irrartic bleeding, like 3months straight, and then it stopped for a month which made suspect I was pregnant along with other symptoms - implantation bleeding, cramps, tender breasts, overactive emotions and nausia. Then I'm pretty sure I had a miscarriage.
I was recommended a site called mymonthlycycles.com and so I visited it and tracked my bleeding (possible miscarriage) as a period. Going by this and assuming that my cycle is the average 28 days I was due to come on on the 19th of this month but I still have not. I am unsure as to how long my cycle is due to the bleeding last year.
I am still ttc but I am not 'desperate'; I have a tender tummy and breasts and I feel a little nausious and I have gone off some foods, could I be pregnant or do you think that my period is on its way and that what I am experiencing could be due to something else?
Any help would be great, thanks.

My friend, mother of 2(boy 3yrs & girl 8yrs), just got into a new relationship with a guy, father of 2 ( girls 3 & 4 yrs) His kids live with his ex, but he DID have visitation. Recently a situation arose, where the 8yrs apparently touched the 4yrs girl in her private area according 2 the mother of the 4yrs girl. Then she denied the father visits. When confronted the 8 yr old denied it, but after being pressured she confessed. But now the mother of the 4yrs girl says that the 4yrs girl says she DID NOT touch her, but tried. My friend now wants me 2 talk 2 her 8y/o cuz she normally talks 2 me about stuff that bothers her easier than her mom. The story doesn't add up. If the 4y/o is changing the story, it would mean, the 8y/o lied. ( Which I think she was in the first place when she confessed.) I don't think she touched the girl, or even tried. I think that the mother put her girl up 2 it cuz her and the guy had a bad break up & wants 2 ruin his new relationship! How do we find truth?

Hello everyone! My son will be two in March, and my husband and I are having a major problem with him and bedtime. He can now reach the door knobs and open his bedroom door on his own, so now he won't stay in his bed when it's time to go to sleep. I was going to put the child safety door knob covers on his door knob, but someone warned me that this might not be safe since there may be a time when he NEEDS to get out of his room - fires, etc. Has anyone else had this problem? What clever solutions did you come up with? I ended up having to take him to his room over 10 times the other night, after he opened the door and came to my bedroom. I'm starting a new job next week, and I won't be able to spend my nights taking him back and forth to his room. Help! The terrible two's have hit! Thanks!

I got off the pill in hopes of pregnancy but always had a quirky cycle. So I thought here we go again, my period is messed up. I did not find out I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks or so. I had a ultrasound and everything is looking great. I am concerned, and the doctor does know and told me it would be fine, however, I would like some woman to give me their thoughts. I had about a glass of wine a week during that first trimester. Always with dinner and only one. I am very scared something will be wrong. Thanks!!
