I have my two year old grandson overnight one night a week and spend all day Saturday with him. We have a great relationship and the father was not around too much in the first year so he took to me as the major male in his life.
The problem is now when I take him home, even to my daughter he throws a fit going to her or the father. He goes nuts and I leave feeling lousy about seeing him so upset. I try talking to him calmly and reassure him that I will see him soon. Any suggstiong?

Well I have a younger friend who is turning 12 this year. She is no longer allowed to have birthday parties because her parents think she is too old to do that. I'm 8 months pregnant and my Dr said i dont have to remove the barbells. I am just wondering if i can keep the barbells in and only remove them when i pump/breastfeed.

I'm only 5 weeks but for the last week I have had serious allergies and a cold (nasal congestion, sore throat, and small cough).
Before conception I had the stomach flu for two weeks, which makes me worry that my nutrients are low.
I have been drinking a lot of water and vitimin c enriched drinks but I have no appitite.
Could this cold cause a miscarriage or am I being over paranoid? We are really worried because my husband and I have been ttc for 9 months now and we are really happy it finally happened.

Because, I don't feel like a woman that's about to give birth. Will I know when I am going into labor and what does it feel like?

Also, I was wondering if sonograms done later in the pregnancy are more accurate or have a tendency to be less accurate? I went to the doctor's office and she said I was measuring big. When I went to the sonogram, the tech said that the baby was measuring two weeks ahead of my due date!?! However, my doctor said we'll just keep the original due date because of the chance of inaccuracies. Someone please help me?!?

I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor prescribed me meds to help ovulate but I didnt ask if they will help with the hair. He prescibed Metformin and Bromocriptin. I'm afraid to shave it bc I dont want to do it for the rest of my life. Does anyone have any other solutions?

my lower abdomen is very hard and when i press down it hurts can i be pregnant? my cervix is very open and soft, my period is due ina few days? Myself and my new girlfriend have recently started having sex. She is taking the pill, and i use a condom, but only towards the end of having sex. Should i be using it for the entire duration of when we are having sex or is it safe to not use it till the end? Is there a risk of pregnancy doing it the way we are?

I haven't had a "real" period since Nov, and it's not almost March. In December I had a very brief period, like two days, and in January a day or so. I feel fine, and I've taken three pregnancy test, one in the early AM and that was negative and two later in the day, all negative. Wouldn't I be feeling some symptoms by now? I'm not gaining weight (actually losing it), and I'm not throwing up, I'm not tired. I have been really stressed with work in Jan. We always use condoms. I'm going to the doc on Monday am, but today my breast feel larger and firmer.

Have you been pregnant and not had any symptoms??? Or did you know right away?
