What is "the show" when pregnant?

I have read some questions saying they saw the show...what in the world is that? I think I'm missing the show...tell me please!

Show is bloody show. It's when your mucous plug starts coming out, sometimes it will be blood-tinged. Usually contractions will start 24-48 hours after "show." But don't worry if you don't have show, not everyone does. I never did.
