I normally have normal cycles of 31 days but have struggled this last two months with having late periods and late ovulation detection using OPK's. I have detected my LH Surge around the 15th day of my cycle for the majority of months I have been TTC. However, I am still not pregnant and have now invested in a fertility monitor. I have switched it on this morning and it has said that has given me the light that I may be fertile today. Is it that I have been getting my cycles wrong and not timing intercourse right? Can I get pregnant a couple of days after my period? Can someone help??? PLEASE

I'm a new mom to an infant and have a two year old. I've been a stay at home mom for two years and would like to begin homeschooling my daughter. Is it too early to begin homeschooling a two year old? What are some recommendations for Christian curriculums?

because of all of the bad things that go on in this world?

I've always wanted children, but lately I've been thinking that it might almost be a bad idea, because of all of the bad things in this world....have you ever had these thoughts?

I still will vote it down. If you want to take out the section which makes it illegal to use a implement, and define what a "deadly weapon" is fine, everything else I agree with. I know parents who use paddles, and belts. They are doing a fine job, with wonderfully behaved children. I will not support a bill which limits their ability to parent. I also won't support a bill which involves more government intrusion in our lives. We have a law on the books which defines abuse as permanent marks left (bruises, welts, blisters) other then temporary redness. This is A-OK by me, and the way the law should stay.

I will try and find a link, however I heard this bill was motivated by a man who's 15 month old daughter was killed by a babysitter, who shook her to death. Now really, what does that have to do with parental controlled spanking???? Please someone answer me that.

I agree with Randy Thomasson (bottom of page)

From time to time I'll pour some Jack Daniels on chicken or steaks to try and tender the meat. I was thinking of marinating some steaks in Jack Daniels in a bowl with various seasonings.

However I'm concerned that after I cook it, there will still be too much alcohol in the steak for my pregnant wife to consume. I'm anxious to try this, but not so anxious to harm my child. My wife is about four and a half months pregnant. Thanks.

I had my baby on the 19th December 2006 and I am still awaiting my period. I am not breastfeeding and thought it should have returned by now. I know my period came back quick with my first child and also my friend had a baby 2 weeks before me and has already had 2 periods already.

Also there is NO way that i'm pregnant we have used contraception each time

I have had on and off B. hicks for a few days and but yesterday they started to seem like contractions. They came every hr, then half hr then every 20 mins accompanied by backace and period pains + loose bowels for a few days. i was told to go to sleep as it was in the night and i managed to do so when they started every 15mins..but when i woke up three hrs later, this morning, it had stopped. I still have a 'funny' feeling down there, sort of a pressure, esp when i go to the toilet. head's been engaged for 6 weeks and i am two days away from due date. Was this just false labour or can it be the early signs and then stop for it to come back later? pls help..i am desperate to start labour, ha ha

This child started losing his balance and falling to his left side when he was about 4 years old. He gets wobbley when he's tired and falls alot, his hands shake, you can see a differrence between his right and left side, from his shoulders down, his left side is a little lower than his right. He's been going through medical testing for past year and they haven't found anything wrong with him but there is obviously something going on. Anyone see anything like this before?

I have my first child and I am currently breast feeding. However when I go out shopping etc and my baby suddenly needs a feed where do I go to do this? I know that it may be inappropriate to do this in public, but surely I could keep it discreet and put a shawl over me whilst he is on..
