This child started losing his balance and falling to his left side when he was about 4 years old. He gets wobbley when he's tired and falls alot, his hands shake, you can see a differrence between his right and left side, from his shoulders down, his left side is a little lower than his right. He's been going through medical testing for past year and they haven't found anything wrong with him but there is obviously something going on. Anyone see anything like this before?

This may sound silly, but have they checked his ears? He may have an inner ear problem. That will effect balance, too.

Much luck and God Bless!

I'm no expert but maybe there are problems with his cerebellum?? I'm pretty sure that has to do with his balance and if he shows dyslexic symptoms too then this is a likely cause. From personal expeciance they are related highly, is he iffy when it come to sports?

Otherwise I wouldn't know, at first i thought it could be that one leg is shorter then the other but I would have thought the tests should have shown that already. There is a symptom like that but I don't know the name, it could be like a millimeter shorter or something small like that can't be noticed except for him.

Lastly maybe its neither he could just be ill and semi fainting

Good lucky to your son hope he you get the help needed soon

Hon I don't know what to say. I don't know if you are religious or not, but I will be praying that the doctors can figure this out. May I suggest asking this in the health section? I don't know all the sub-categories, but I have had many answers from doctors and nurses that were very right on when I have had questions, maybe you can find someone who knows better... Good luck hon!!!

There are many problems with these symptoms, the two most common ones are seizure dissorders and MS. Also something called Familuremyaclonus. I don't know if the spelling is correct. But brain tumors will also cause this. That is why I say there is so many things it is just hard to tell.
